There were actually dozens of new fin shapes and materials after Schnitz came out with the clamp. Many had their 15 minutes of fame, but very few stuck (Slotback, Denali, maybe Whisper?) Might be because skis were pretty inconsistent back then, or just that the 5 hole Kidder was the most predictable. I'd say ,Try 'em all @Blofeld I think the proper fin setup can help your stack. I just wouldn't expect a lot of outside feedback unless you run a Denali on a Denali.
One of my good friends won Nationals on a Goode with a Slotback. I used to make a couple common shapes but in stainless. I don't think i would try that now. Schnitz said I liked it because it just ran deeper because it was heavier, idk?
