  1. Pristine. How's the knee Ron?
  2. several. I bought various rollerblade boots and screwed them to a plate. I am not advocating this. @Bruce_Butterfielddid this too.
  3. I did that for at least 10 years, not one injury. With double rubber setup, broke my ankle/tib/fib twice 😬
  4. I always thought it was Klem, with a K. I remember looking at one and saying, No way. I had a Venting Incident through the gate once. Pretty much thought i was paralyzed or dead. Chilled on the fin experiments a bit after that.
  5. There were actually dozens of new fin shapes and materials after Schnitz came out with the clamp. Many had their 15 minutes of fame, but very few stuck (Slotback, Denali, maybe Whisper?) Might be because skis were pretty inconsistent back then, or just that the 5 hole Kidder was the most predictable. I'd say ,Try 'em all @Blofeld I think the proper fin setup can help your stack. I just wouldn't expect a lot of outside feedback unless you run a Denali on a Denali. One of my good friends won Nationals on a Goode with a Slotback. I used to make a couple common shapes but in stainless. I don't think i would try that now. Schnitz said I liked it because it just ran deeper because it was heavier, idk?
  6. *cough* bought an android phone
  7. 🔥
  8. @lakeho26 you could also up your letter or go + on the 5.7.
  9. is that real? looks like a good beginning of a movie
  10. not draggin88, but ,67 . those were my son's skis. Hard to get. I really don't deserve them, but they are now flat and useless to a high level SL skier.
  11. @6balls I've actually never done it, but use to drive at a winter driving school and do Blizzack drive days on groomed snow courses and ice rinks. Great fun.
  12. that makes sense, an exceptional junior can be a Cat2 if that's their progression (right?)
  13. that kind of backups my point: 12 year olds don't need to go to a national-level tournament. They can target a regional tournament.
  14. March is great Spring skiing (snow), bordering on "mud season": when we can't really do anything except go to Moab (true locals), or Hawaii or Turks and Caicos (Aspen Elite). water will be about 40° (aka Melted Snow)
  15. I don't think kids dig hanging on the dock with old dudes like me
