Baller slalomboy96 Posted November 28, 2013 Baller Share Posted November 28, 2013 so, 32 mph, 18metre rope and boom... one severely broken Nano One, and one very sore body
Baller SkiJay Posted November 28, 2013 Baller Share Posted November 28, 2013 Yikes @slalomboy96! And THAT right there is why I switched from double binding plates to the single Sequence plate (extra flex was a bonus). That ski may have broken into two separate very jagged pieces had you been using two separate plates. Very messy injuries can happen this way. Baller ozski Posted November 28, 2013 Baller Share Posted November 28, 2013 Can't imagine what might have happened if it was a -35 pull on the cord.. Pretty bad PR when your product breaks like that.
doonez
must have been a large amount of force to bend the sequence plate like it is up front! Haha how hard do you turn!!
Baller GOODESkier Posted November 28, 2013 Baller Share Posted November 28, 2013 Call them, they will take care of it. Wonder if the inserts had something to do with that breakage? Probably never know.......
JJVDMZN
@slalomboy96, looks like you dropped the ski on your big toe as well...

Baller Dirt Posted November 28, 2013 Baller Share Posted November 28, 2013 Ditto what @GOODESkier said. They will replace it. The skis work. These guys would not buy them if they didn't.
Baller Zman Posted November 28, 2013 Baller Share Posted November 28, 2013 @Dirt - that looks like Cedar Ridge. No?
Baller_ Wish Posted November 28, 2013 Baller_ Share Posted November 28, 2013 @Dirt all but a couple guys at the Atlanta ProAm were on Goodes as well. There must be something to them. To bad for them it was an HO S2 that won. :-)
Baller Dirt Posted November 28, 2013 Baller Share Posted November 28, 2013 @Zman @Wish It is Cedar Ridge. I was surprised how many Goodes there were. Almost everyone pays full price for them. They don't always win but they are always the majority.

Baller slalomboy96 Posted November 29, 2013 Author Baller Share Posted November 29, 2013 it happened while skiing, went soft at 2 ball then slammed on my face at the first wake, Goode have replace it, and I am sure you all know, skis break, just unfortunate that this one was mine, used factory inserts, just to clarify this is not a dig at Goode, it is a "fcuk look at this" moment
