Cool videos I loved the video of Cory with only 1 flip and Dylan Schaffer with 9. Very cool to see the differences over time.

With 9 flips, I believe Cory could have tricked 13 or 14 K.

Tricking has gotten more sensational (fun to watch!) but to some extent, less athletic (although hats off to Aliaksei Z for doing ski line 7 front and ski line 7 back... tough tricks in any era). More like snowboarders/wakeboarders, less like Olympic gymnasts. In some ways, what was most impressive about the Cory and Patrice era was the flow and lack-of-recovery-time between tricks. I recall seeing Patrice do a flip, land inside the wake and immediately launch into an inside-out ski line trick.

Like @Andjules, I am a HUGE Cory and Patrice fan, but love the direction of tricks today. The top men and women have managed to continually innovate and re-define standards. These athletes could be stars at the highest level of any number of sports
