Baller PatM Posted June 26, 2014 Baller Share Posted June 26, 2014 Anybody download the new version R from Zero Off? I cannot find it in their downloads. Didn't know if you have to contact them directly or not. I have a linebacker sized ski partner that I think version R would work well for.
Baller MattP Posted June 26, 2014 Baller Share Posted June 26, 2014 He should be playing football then! I think ZO needs to physically send it to you. The + settings may benefit him.
Baller PatM Posted June 26, 2014 Author Baller Share Posted June 26, 2014 @MattP He is an ex division 1 hockey player. 6-4 235lb. Thanks I'll contact them.
Baller ForrestGump Posted June 26, 2014 Baller Share Posted June 26, 2014 On the ZO website you can submit for the upgrade. You need to know your ZO serial number. They will send you the file.
Baller Doug Posted June 26, 2014 Baller Share Posted June 26, 2014 You need a E.Com cable to down load the file plus a password you will need to down load the software onto your laptop its not as EZ as uploading a program where are you located? Baller PatM Posted June 27, 2014 Author Baller Share Posted June 27, 2014 I have a E.Com cable from when I updated to version Q. I do remember the process somewhat, laptop attached to my engine, etc. I remember it not being to difficult.

Baller SkiJay Posted June 30, 2014 Baller Share Posted June 30, 2014 @"Pat M" the Nautique dealer in Orlando couldn't do the R update on my 200 and said that 50%of the boats they service wouldn't take the upgrade. If this happens to you, don't give up. Freddie Krueger came by and successfully did the upgrade in 10 minutes. Unfortunately, I was out when he did it so I don't know what the issue was. Just letting you know it CAN be done if you hit a snag.
Baller LeonL Posted June 30, 2014 Baller Share Posted June 30, 2014 Gee that's strange. I did two last year, and I know of two other people in our area that made the upgrade to "R". Two were 196 and two were 200. So, from my experience, we're 100%.
Baller Ed_Johnson Posted June 30, 2014 Baller Share Posted June 30, 2014 The Orlando CC Dealer did my 2011 409 in 10 minutes. However, my ski partners 2012 5.7 took 3 tries over 2 months to get it right. As a side note, I am 6'4"@225, and absolutely LOVE the Plus system. I really didn't know how much until after I had been using it for a year, skied behind a 200 without it, and felt like there was no power from ZO...Felt terrible, no boost, no afterburner. Also, 2 other ski partners that are much lighter, 150 to 160lbs, hate the plus, and won't use it.
Baller ForrestGump Posted June 30, 2014 Baller Share Posted June 30, 2014 FYI... in case you didn't know....... the ZO(and ECM in general) in 200s with the Lync can be update via the USB port in the pocket to the left of the steering wheel.
