MarkJ
We are selling one of our lots at Angel Lake. It is a great 3 event site - crystal clear water. Only 8 lots have water access! Very private. Close to Houston, Austin and San Antonio. http://www.ski-it-again.com/php/skiitagain.php?topic=Search&category=Real_Estate&postid=29431

Baller MikeDunlap Posted August 20, 2014 Baller Share Posted August 20, 2014 I am a property owner at Angel Lake, it is a great site if you don't mind a brief drive from Houston, Bryan/College Station, Austin or the San Antonio areas. I will be happy to give any baller a pull through the course if you have interest. The lake is very private and you almost never have to wait your turn. Baller ForrestGump Posted August 21, 2014 Baller Share Posted August 21, 2014 Imagine going to South Pacific and looking down into 6-8 foot deep water. That's how clear it is. I could read the prophecy emblem on my ski when my legs were straightened out below me.
Baller MikeDunlap Posted August 22, 2014 Baller Share Posted August 22, 2014 ShaneH, you and the boys up on the northside need to come ski with me this fall. Water quality at Angel Lake is as good as ever.

zippin_2
What is the source of water?
Baller MikeDunlap Posted September 2, 2014 Baller Share Posted September 2, 2014 @AlbertaTex, prevailing south winds travel up a slope about a 1/4 mile before the lake and then there is a 3' berm along the shoreline, anything below 10 - 12 mph wind is pretty much a non issue. @zippin_2, we pull our water from about 400' down. For a Texas lake we are very fortunate that we do not have a water problem. Natural sand filtering, carp and lake dye help keep the water clean and clear.
