I'm not so sure they cannot take that though.. I suspect they can and they turn them over quick enough that it's probably the equivalent of long term minimal abuse by a private lake owner.

Sea world boats are some of the best taken care of boats available. Sea world has a safety program that includes daily inspections where if there is any dependency's the boats are red tagged and not put into service until rectified. Service on these boats are logged and maintained at factory recommended spec's. Yea they may have a battle scar or two on them but so did my boat coming out of last weekends tournament. would not be afraid of purchasing a sea world boat especially if the price is right! my 98 SN came out of Sea world of Orlando and gave me 5 years of great service.

I definitely value Jody's opinion. However, a friend of mine skied for Sea World back in the 90's and could've bought one of the boats cheap. He said he ran as fast as he could away from it, as they get hammered on. I will say he left here an MC guy and came a CC fan. Said he couldn't believe how they kept performing top notch, with the abuse they received.

I used to drive the Sea World show in San Antonio. Years ago. The boats were used hard but well taken care of. Buzz at Sail n Ski has a lease type deal with SW SA. He'll sometimes send one to a tournament after it gets rotated out of SW. They're tight, but typically dirty.

Now, I wouldn't pee on Buzz if he were on fire. He screwed me over once and I'lll never forget it. And that would be who you'd be buying it through. I drove out with a brand spanking new Ski Nautique in 1996. Used it twice and the wheel fell off with only 100 miles on the trailer. Like hub and all with the tire still bolted to it. Buzz told me he couldn't do anything because I didn't grease the hubs after putting the boat in the water every time. WTF? I ended up having to go to the trailer mfr direct to get replacement parts and do the labor and painting myself. Thankfully, it happened at only 25 mph and not 60-70 on the highway.

I decided to stay away. I'm sure it would be ok but there were stains on the seats and I didn't care for the sales staff. Not very helpful.

Not cheap enough to make it worth it.

I'll be looking for a promo in the fall.

Thanks for the comments

I happened to call on these boats today myself as well. They wanted quite a bit for them considering their past. Even more for the promo boat they have there.

Matt just buy my carbon pro out of San Marcos and save some money!

So to sum it up, I could marry a Porn Star if I had a list of all her services and inspected the records (videos) and expect to get at least 5 good years performance out of her.... Sounds reasonable.

I called on the boat at action marine.

It has 72 hours. Motor had a rod problem so pcm put a new motor in that has 2 hours on it.

Should I be worried about that? The guy said it should have a 3 year warranty in motor/trans.

I've taken my 2007 Lxi with zero off boat off of ski-it-again.

He won't trade because he's selling it for the owner.

You live on Granburry? If so you were standing in your driveway 2 weeks ago on the day of the hail storm and we drove by and waved from a grey pathfinder.
