Baller Chef23 Posted November 30, 2015 Baller Share Posted November 30, 2015 At what point does he realize it is 41. As soon as he gets out of the water?

Baller A_B Posted November 30, 2015 Author Baller Share Posted November 30, 2015 Maybe his 38 off approach to 41 should be what he aspires to. Looked pretty dang easy.
Baller_ Wish Posted November 30, 2015 Baller_ Share Posted November 30, 2015 "...confused with the chief judge"...how? How is it the boat crew pulls in 3 loops and does not question him? If he missed, then what? It's impressive but seems very odd that it could even happened. Anyone have the true story of how it went down. Did he say oppt to 39 and they missed a loop? Baller D3dude Posted November 30, 2015 Baller Share Posted November 30, 2015 I was on the starting dock that day in Canton.....I believe it had to do with a bouy that was loose....he was given a warmup pass and then back to 41 and he was not aware he had run 41 until the boat told him when he dropped in....going from memory and I'm sure he will chime in at some point. drewski32
I was there too and it was basically what @D3dude said. CP asked for a reride because of a loose buoy floating around at 41. It was several minutes before his reride so they gave him a warmup and he thought he was getting the entire round back so he went out at 35.
