Anybody know of any skiing around there. apologies if this is a repeat post. I started one yesterday as well but it seems to have disappeared. Maybe I am banned!!! boarditup
Ty Oppenlander's family has a private site in Lawton, just South of K-zoo. They don't have an "open" sign on the fence, but they do offer coaching. Very nice family and Ty is one of my two favorite coaches. Nice site, well protected from south winds during the summer. Baller bishop8950 Posted May 18, 2016 Baller Share Posted May 18, 2016 2nd for Ty. Epic site and he is a great guy and great coach. I grew up on a lake near Kalamazoo and hit up Ty every time I go back home.
Baller colo_skier Posted May 20, 2016 Author Baller Share Posted May 20, 2016 Thanks for the heads up for Ty. I found the web site so once I figure travel plans I can try to set some time up. Also have another contact for possible ski time. This is the reason I thank @Horton for putting together such a great web site. Maybe when I am out in California again I can make good on my Alvin burritos and good quality IPA obligations.
