Supporting Member Shark Posted November 6, 2017 Supporting Member Share Posted November 6, 2017 A big thanks to @Horton and @Rico for the great advice on my gates. Ran 6, 32off passes in a row on Friday! Really appreciate it. Looking forward to more!
Administrators Horton Posted November 6, 2017 Administrators Share Posted November 6, 2017 OMG! I thought the boat was going to run out of gas. How many passes can one person run in a row. Ok seriously you are very welcome. It was good skiing with you for a few days. Baller m_pags Posted November 6, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 6, 2017 @Shark that's fantastic. Now Justin and I are going to really have to step it up next summer. PS. How many IPA's did the advice cost you? :)
Baller_ lpskier Posted November 6, 2017 Baller_ Share Posted November 6, 2017 One of our club members said she could run 20 passes. We called BS. 24 passes later, with the best completed pass run on pass 24 (-28/34 mph). Skier= Paula Sleiman, an engineer at Nautique. Baller thager Posted November 7, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 7, 2017 Still not close to what @RazorSkier has put up for passes me thinks...
Administrators Horton Posted November 7, 2017 Administrators Share Posted November 7, 2017 Ok the point got lost here / my fault. @shark had never made 32 more than a few times in a row before. This was the best he had ever skied. I take full credit. Baller Edbrazil Posted November 13, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 13, 2017 Back a few years, there was a contest to see who could run 38 the most times in a row. I think that Jamie Beauchesne won with something like 7. Anyone have better details?
Baller mwetskier Posted November 15, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 15, 2017 @Edbrazil it was called ' spin it to win it '. they got one pass at 35 to warm up and then back to back 38s with no drop until fatigue dropped them against their will. jb won, beating marcus brown by a ball or two on i think pass 6 or 7. Baller thompjs Posted November 15, 2017 Baller Share Posted November 15, 2017 @Shark With Rico's help surprised you didn't run 5 every time. Congrats on your skiing.
Supporting Member Shark Posted November 15, 2017 Author Supporting Member Share Posted November 15, 2017 Hahaha! I love the banter ! All I can say is I think I now know what to do. It’s a matter of concentration and doing. To maintain that concentration 6 passes in a row without getting my stupid side of the brain involved is priceless (for me). I get there are “iron men” out there who can better that number. Let’s keep the banter rolling and continue the fun!
