What's the best Vinyl Repair product?

I have a couple small puncture holes in the rear seat back rest. Any ideas in something that could fix it and keep it from tearing further?

I had a small split and used this. It has kept it from worsening since 2013 and it is a highly trafficked piece of vinyl. Not a repair, but will keep it from splitting further.

I use VLP. It's not always pretty depending on the hole or tear, but does not fail since it melts into the vinyl. I have 17 year old repairs still going strong.

This happened to me once and I got a name of an upholstery repair guy from my dealership. It was about a 1" slit in the observer seat of our 196, which was only a week old at the time, so I was mad. The guy used some glue gun looking thing then airbrushed the color to match. Came out perfect. That's the route I'd go.

I'll second the VLP. I used it from a recommendation from BOS and it does work really well. You still see the tear, but it holds great.

I saw something else that might work, it's at www.globalsmartrepairs.com and has a cool process of making an impression of the grain, then sealing the cut and painting it with a color mixed to match, then pressing the grain back into it. Not sure if there is anything similar or not.
