Baller A_B Posted August 6, 2019 Baller Share Posted August 6, 2019 A friend slowed to 32 mph this year and just bought a 68" GTR. Usually skied on 67" skis but found a little sluggish with the drop in speed. Anyone found a good setup other than stock for 32? Thanks AB
Baller DanE Posted August 6, 2019 Baller Share Posted August 6, 2019 I have found Connelllys #s to be on the smallish side for the GTR. Try 2.526. 6.850. .760 max 7 deg. Front boot @ 29.875 Let me know how it feels.
Baller MDB1056 Posted August 6, 2019 Baller Share Posted August 6, 2019 would agree with @DanE on GTR beeing smallish. I just got on a 67 where technically a 66 is the right number for me but it feels great. Im not skiing 32 (34) but did find the Option 1 settings for 67 to make a big difference for me. Baller Connelly_Skis_Inc Posted August 7, 2019 Baller Share Posted August 7, 2019 Hey @A_B Deep and short with 7 on the wing would be the way to go, according to Joel Howely. But if you are longer than 28off just go stock to keep the ski nice and calm.
