Baller Stevie Boy Posted February 21, 2020 Baller Share Posted February 21, 2020 I am sure it is a great ski for the right people, but I prefer the term "Carbon Fibre" over Fibreglass, I would go as far to say that I am truly addicted to Carbon Fibre. Baller ALPJr Posted February 28, 2020 Baller Share Posted February 28, 2020 Bump. Evo Axis vs. Evo S ? Is this the MC Sport Star of the late 90’s ? Using one of the best hull molds ever (MC 190 95-97) with the same drive train, but with basic interior and materials to keep costs down?
Baller Skiphreak Posted November 21, 2021 Baller Share Posted November 21, 2021 Bumping this thread. Has anyone spent time on the EVO axis? -15 off 32-34 mph free skier and will be jumping into the course this upcoming season. Currently spending time on 2020 graphite Vapor and syndicate Omni. Baller ral Posted November 21, 2021 Baller Share Posted November 21, 2021 Hi @Skiphreak , not many here would use the Evo Axis. However, it would be a great skier for free skiing, more durable and better at rougher water handling than the regular Evo or the Ion, and will save you USD 600 to invest in coaching. If you are jumping into the course, I would size up, as you will be spending time at slower speeds.
