Baller mlange Posted March 11, 2020 Baller Share Posted March 11, 2020 I know where it is, but how do I get it out without removing the fuel tank? Any tricks someone can share?
Baller Kelvin Posted March 11, 2020 Baller Share Posted March 11, 2020 Had one replaced once under a parts only warranty. I had to pay for the dealer to remove the fuel tank. Argh!!
Baller mlange Posted March 11, 2020 Author Baller Share Posted March 11, 2020 Looks to me like the blower is sitting vertical w/ it inset into a plate. That plate has at least one screw into the hull. I unscrewed it, but the plate is still in there pretty good. My guess is that the plate is glued down to the hull and that I could take a putty knife to pry it up and get to the blower. Hoping someone can either confirm that or provide the right option if I'm wrong. Attached is a picture of what I'm seeing when reaching into the area with my cell phone. The left side of the picture is the fuel tank. To the right of the blower in the picture is the transom. The bottom plate with a single screw, which I removed, is at the very bottom of the picture.
