Baller Cooper_Trelawney Posted May 6, 2020 Baller Share Posted May 6, 2020 Lord knows I loved jumping. I thought waterski jumping was the most exciting and fun event. I think I would have given this ramp a very short side-angled plop over for the fun of it before re-anchoring it. Someone in another thread suggested @Horton should pick up jumping again. I haven't jumped in a tournament since '97 nationals and that was on 74" jumpers and hand-throttled driving. I have no idea how to jump now with speed control, giant skis, etc. but I bet it would be just as fun! I just don't think my 52 yr old body can do what it did in my 20s... Baller Craig Posted May 6, 2020 Baller Share Posted May 6, 2020 That is Whitestone; I lived near there and skied there for a few years. We had occasional issues with beavers in the colder months. For whatever reason they liked to chew through the anchor lines. Can't trust a beaver... Great place, wish I could visit more often.
