Ski Site Development

I’m curious of who on here has developed ski sites, i.e., TBS, Swiss Slalom, Radar Lake, etc. Our local lake is overrun with constant surfing and it seems to me that the only option to remedy is going private.

What do you typically look for as far as acreage amounts, how to acquire water, plans, etc.

Anyone have any input on selling lots around the lake and doing the lakehouse/course club type arrangements? Do they workout or is it constant problems? Is there any profit involved or is it a money losing venture?

Just curious on who might have some relevant details and experience.
