Baller BlueSki Posted October 25, 2020 Baller Share Posted October 25, 2020 I know others have experienced the seal between the top and bottom the SN 200 engine box falling off. Have you tried to glue it back on or did you just rip it off to be done with it? I’m not sure the seal is necessary.
Baller Carl Posted October 25, 2020 Baller Share Posted October 25, 2020 Rip it off, no difference in motor noise
Baller jimski Posted October 25, 2020 Baller Share Posted October 25, 2020 I keep crazy glueing it. Every year I get a few more inches coming undone
Baller mlange Posted October 25, 2020 Baller Share Posted October 25, 2020 I pulled mine off. It's not any louder. Not sure why it's needed.
Baller_ Rednucleus Posted October 25, 2020 Baller_ Share Posted October 25, 2020 A product like Seam grip (similar to aquaseal) should work well. I use it for my dry suit & wet suit repair

Baller PatM Posted October 26, 2020 Baller Share Posted October 26, 2020 Also the 3M #77 spray glue for car interiors works well. Just need to tape off for over spray
Baller EricKelley Posted October 29, 2020 Baller Share Posted October 29, 2020 Shoe Goo works very well. I cleaned the surfaces with alcohol. Applied the Shoe Goo in small increments and then taped them to hold in place while the cement cured. Did this 4 years ago and it still is rock solid.
