Baller Clydesdale Posted January 12, 2021 Baller Share Posted January 12, 2021 @OTF i laughed, but then started thinking. Maybe a new training tool? I let u know if I have the balls to try it!
Baller cruznski Posted January 17, 2021 Baller Share Posted January 17, 2021 So I recently had an epiphany, where indeed I am on Medicare and in Men 7 but I am going to ski 34.2 mph. It's more fun. And the ski works better . So there.
Baller_ lpskier Posted January 17, 2021 Baller_ Share Posted January 17, 2021 @cruznski Gordon, I was hoping your epiphany was “Ski more in the Adirondacks” with @adkh2oskier . Lpskier
Baller cruznski Posted January 17, 2021 Baller Share Posted January 17, 2021 @lpskier Hey after 60 years sold Ledgerock Lodge in November, so while that would be great may not be in the cards
Baller ScottScott Posted January 25, 2021 Baller Share Posted January 25, 2021 '21 I'll be riding a Wrapped ski. Just a couple sets in '20 on it. Way different than my ARC. It'll be fun to adapt and see how it goes.....

Baller ForrestGump Posted January 26, 2021 Baller Share Posted January 26, 2021 Ski for the first time in 2 1/2 years since foot and ankle surgery.
Baller_ swbca Posted January 26, 2021 Baller_ Share Posted January 26, 2021 @cruznski If you ski at 34 in Men 7, you get 6 points added for speed correct ? I was considering the same thing for M9 . . skiing at 32 instead of 30..
Baller_ MISkier Posted January 26, 2021 Baller_ Share Posted January 26, 2021 @swbca, that will work in class C events. At Regionals or Nationals, you will get scored as though you skied at 30 mph. You do not get the commensurate score for 32 mph there. The worst slalom equipment I own is between my ears.
Baller cruznski Posted February 4, 2021 Baller Share Posted February 4, 2021 @swbca yes in Class C it is zero based scoring, but as @mlskier points out at Regionals, Nationals your division is scored at your division speed.

Baller_ swbca Posted February 7, 2021 Baller_ Share Posted February 7, 2021 I'm thinking about getting some of the baggy shorts that the pro's wear.
Baller_ Bruce_Butterfield Posted February 7, 2021 Baller_ Share Posted February 7, 2021 @swbca much better the baggy shorts than a speedo! If it was easy, they would call it Wakeboarding
Baller_ lpskier Posted February 7, 2021 Baller_ Share Posted February 7, 2021 It takes some getting used to to get up with baggy shorts. Get some with some stretch in them, such as O’Neill Hyper Freaks. Considering your shoulder issue, I’d consider wearing something that won’t become a parachute while trying to deep water start, at least until you are pretty comfortable with the rest of your new gear. Baller dbutcher Posted February 7, 2021 Baller Share Posted February 7, 2021 Stretch is good. Also, pull all the extra material in your baggy shorts to the back of your legs just before you start. By the time the extra material gets pulled into a position that will catch water, you will be out of the water.
Baller Hockdog Posted February 7, 2021 Baller Share Posted February 7, 2021 What am I going to do different in 2021? Retire in May and finally ski all summer. Winning.
