Baller jjackkrash Posted April 9, 2021 Baller Share Posted April 9, 2021 Any idea if this would work for a new model Ski Nautique? Or what I need to know to find out if it will work? Never bought a lift before. https://seattle.craigslist.org/kit/boa/d/grapeview-aluminum-boat-lift/7304288182.html

Baller TomH Posted April 9, 2021 Baller Share Posted April 9, 2021 It should lift it ok, but you're nearing the capacity - a 4,000 lb+ would be better for the new SN. I'm not sure what the Seattle market is for lifts versus here in Minnesota, but that lift is pretty overpriced compared to our local market, considering it's a manual winch and has no canopy. For that price I picked up a similar capacity lift with canopy and dc electric motor last summer, and prices this year aren't too far north of that. (We may have a bigger supply of used lifts around here though)
Baller jjackkrash Posted April 9, 2021 Author Baller Share Posted April 9, 2021 @TomH got it, I'll keep looking for a 4K+ lift.
Baller skimtb Posted April 10, 2021 Baller Share Posted April 10, 2021 Pass on that. Winch doesn’t size the lift usually. The frame and stuff like that does. You will probably want at least approx 108” width, which was standard for many years for freestanding lifts like that. 116-120” more in demand now due to wakeboats, so should be able to find something. Also agree price is high. There has to be a 3500-4000 lb 108” that someone is selling because their new boat won’t fit.
Baller_ Bruce_Butterfield Posted April 10, 2021 Baller_ Share Posted April 10, 2021 Not sure what exactly will work for your situation, but I can certainly recommend these guys. http://boatcradles.com/ If it was easy, they would call it Wakeboarding
