Baller Fatroll Posted June 25, 2022 Baller Share Posted June 25, 2022 Anyone having issues with the 2022 vapor boot boa. Mine popped off. I might have bumped it with my handle but nothing significant. I have only skied 6-7 sets in them. Do you guys think I have any recourse with Radar for repair or replacement? I emailed via their website this week and no response yet.

Baller Youghskier Posted June 25, 2022 Baller Share Posted June 25, 2022 It should snap right back on. My does that occasionally if I bump it on the platform getting the water. They’re designed to pop off so you can replace the cable if it breaks.
Baller jjackkrash Posted June 25, 2022 Baller Share Posted June 25, 2022 Boa also warranties for life I believe. Radar will also take care of you if you call customer service. If the customer service line does not work call or email Brooks Wilson.
Baller scuppers Posted June 25, 2022 Baller Share Posted June 25, 2022 I had the same issue with a burton snowboard boot. No popping it back on - I had to send it back to Burton - they fixed it no charge. Best part of the story is that I found the cap three days later on the top of the Powell Run at Beaver Creek. Amazing!
Baller Kwoody51 Posted June 26, 2022 Baller Share Posted June 26, 2022 There is a small screw at the center that holds the cap on. Email boa and they will hook you up asap. https://www.boafit.com/en-us/contact-us

Baller igkya Posted June 26, 2022 Baller Share Posted June 26, 2022 I had this happen a few years back, Turned out that the hole the screw goes into was cracked so the screw wouldn't stay in. Everything worked but the top would just pop off. Duct taped in on the first day, then superglued it on after that. Ended up getting new boots and had a good back-up pair if needed. Baller WoodySkier Posted June 28, 2022 Baller Share Posted June 28, 2022 Go on boa’s website, they’ll send you a replacement Boa assembly for free, had this happen a few years ago. The Boa dial is IP1, make sure you know whether it is left or right or just order both in case. The warranty kits are part #100176 (left) and 100177 (right). It also says CS1. Baller BraceMaker Posted June 28, 2022 Baller Share Posted June 28, 2022 Do not recommend glue because if you get glue into the baseplate you'll have to undo the rivets.
Baller Fatroll Posted June 29, 2022 Author Baller Share Posted June 29, 2022 My local dealer seems to only care about Ronix. I think they have an old radar union for sale from 2013.I did get a response from RADAR and they are sending a new BOA. :)
Baller MichaelWiebe Posted June 29, 2022 Baller Share Posted June 29, 2022 As stated above, BOA has excellent customer care and warranty for life. I got the same kit as pictured above for my Radar gloves. Easy fix. Thanks.
