Guest
Hi, I just rediscovered slalom after 30 years, I bought a Mastercraft boat which came with an old Kidder Pro Graphite Redline ski, 67" long. I want to get back to my old capabilities (ran course 32, 15 off) but I'm not there yet so I want to use this ski for now and when ready I'll buy a newer Radar ski I have my eyes on. I do like the Radar double boot bindings, I bought them and cant figure out where to place them on this Kidder ski. The current front binding is 80cm from heel of binding to tail of ski. I'm seeing on youtube that correct setup is supposed to be 74cm so quite a difference. Any guidance ?
Baller Andre Posted July 20, 2022 Baller Share Posted July 20, 2022 Forget the bindings! Buy a new Radar ski now!!! 80cm is about 28"". Looks a bit back for 67 ski but... My ski finish in 16.95 but my ass is out of tolerance!
Baller skialex Posted July 20, 2022 Baller Share Posted July 20, 2022 This is a 30 years old ski, you can buy a 10 years old ski with a modern insert pattern for close to nothing…
Baller_ Rednucleus Posted July 20, 2022 Baller_ Share Posted July 20, 2022 Newer ski time as previously suggested. You will be amazed at the difference and it will be much easier to get back in to ski shape on modern equipment.
