Baller_ Slalom.Steve Posted July 29, 2022 Baller_ Share Posted July 29, 2022 I just bought a new ski and wanna protect it well (read: baby the s**t out of it), so I want one of those neo sleeves with the fin protector for in the boat. But I spent all my money on the new ski lol. Anyone have a sleeve (used/beat up is fine) they'd be willing to sell on the cheap? Thanks!
Baller Mastercrafter Posted July 29, 2022 Baller Share Posted July 29, 2022 A new Syndicate sleeve is usually $70 shipped and while not dirt cheap, it’s not too painful and they sure are nice ?
Baller MDB1056 Posted July 29, 2022 Baller Share Posted July 29, 2022 Have had a few - the syndicate sleeve has the best fin protector by far
Baller BlueSki Posted July 30, 2022 Baller Share Posted July 30, 2022 I recommend a fin firkin and a ski tog from SIA or oversized ski case. Buy a case bigger than your ski so it goes over the firkin.
Baller_ Slalom.Steve Posted July 30, 2022 Author Baller_ Share Posted July 30, 2022 so to be clear, I do already have a Radar padded bag and a fin firkin, but that feels kinda clunky for inbetween sets in the boat. I did warn you that I want to baby the ski lol.

Baller_ lpskier Posted July 30, 2022 Baller_ Share Posted July 30, 2022 H2OPROSHOP.com has some great ones. Hit them up on line, give them a call or visit them in person at Nationals. Lpskier
Baller skialex Posted July 30, 2022 Baller Share Posted July 30, 2022 How come and a tube pressed against the fin acts as fin protector beats me. Also putting a wet ski inside the neoprene keeps the moisture in, which works the fin and fin box until the next use… I would use a finfirkin fin protector inside any non neoprene ski bag or ski sock and if the ski bag is padded I would leave it open at all times but when carrying it to the lake. Baller_ swbca Posted July 30, 2022 Baller_ Share Posted July 30, 2022 Syndicate is nice and its $60.00. I bought mine with free shipping from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/HO-Sports-NEO-Sleeve-OSFA/dp/B0064FO178/ref=sr_1_2?crid=1YQ88Q0X5D8OM&keywords=syndicate+ski+sleeve&qid=1659208053&sprefix=syndicate+ski+sleece%2Caps%2C98&sr=8-2&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.18ed3cb5-28d5-4975-8bc7-93deae8f9840
Baller Broussard Posted July 30, 2022 Baller Share Posted July 30, 2022 There are plenty of online proshops (some of which have been mentioned here) that have the Syndicate Neo Sleeve (and other neo sleeves for sale). All of these are better options that giving more money to Mr. Bezos :) .
Baller skimtb Posted July 30, 2022 Baller Share Posted July 30, 2022 Get a Prostar and keep it in the ski racks! Could be a budget breaker though! The ski it again fleece ones are nice too but don’t have a fin protector. Not sure what you guys are doing in the boat that would need that much protection, unless you are throwing in nautique side lockers.
