  1. Are you pumping as you’re digging? Or ready to let er fill up? love the wind protection. That’s awesome.
  2. Radar cheapest; Wally best.. and arguable a better value when it comes to useful life.
  3. I goofed and did one acre, not 12. Make that 60K more yards of dirt for a few extra feet depth. Anyways.. pointless rambling.
  4. Few extra feet of depth is just another 5,000 yards of dirt to move.. no biggie 🙄 @Spencer_Shultz is your family doing a DIY dig or paying to have it done? Super cool and looks like a great site.
  5. … that 4th tracking fin and rail in the hull drive SO nice though 😎 Driving a neighbor’s boat, I found myself with nothing better to do than peek in the mirror vs driving my 2015 drifter.
  6. While I didn’t have a way to do a side-by-side comparison nor did I use a dB better, I really felt that the Malibu tips I used made the boat sound a lot less aggressive and smoothed out the exhaust note a bit. It’s hard to tell in your video but despite the similar meter reading, do you think it helped the perceived sound at all, or no? What do the MC tips you used have for baffles.. any pics? Curious how they compare.
  7. I used to do a lot of competitive shooting and firearms training, and one of my favorite course names was “you suck, it’s not the gun” I have come to also find that I suck, it’s not the ski.
  8. I've acquired some different neoprene items and these are no longer getting used. 2-4 years old, overall in good condition. The Syndicate Dryflex has two little tears in a knee. Asking 50% of new for each, free shipping. I'm 5'7, 155lbs, 30x30 pants, M shirt size. Despite the Syndicate being XL it fit me best. Camaro Impact Vest is in OK shape but fraying a little bit. It's a little loose on me and floats up a bit. O'Neill Reactor 3/2 Full Wetsuit, M, $75.00 O'Neill Epic 4/3 Full Wetsuit, M-Short, $125.00 O'Neill O'Riginal 2mm Shorty , M, $65.00 Syndicate Dryflex 1.5mm Full Suit, XL, $125 Camaro Impact Vest Pro, Reversible, S, $100
  9. I’ve seen some gnarly cracks on a 2023 Prostar and I just picked up a clapped out 2014 with a whole bunch of hours with no cracks. My guess is that it’s something to do with the gelcoat and glass when the boat is built.. some better than others. There was a 2019 Ski Nautique for sale with bad cracks too but the boat looked great otherwise Probably fine 🤷🏻‍♂️
  10. Maybe GPS puck issue? Have you updated to single puck? It is showing zero satellites and therefore has no idea how fast you are going. Edit. oops, did not see that the rest of your screen showed zeros as well. This seems like a screen issue or CAN-bus communication issue.
  11. … but Syndicate has the biggest edge?
  12. https://www.greatlakesskipper.com/malibu-boat-exhaust-port-3221015-1-silent-tip-3-1-2-inch-stainless here are 3.5”, 4” available too, I think.
  13. Haven’t gotten any in the water yet, but the ProVis sure seem to stand out compared to the other Wally colors. Though, there are certainly brighter oranges out there than the Wally. If the ProVis hold color, we have a winner.
  14. I’m not super familiar with A2 vs A3, but last summer a friend who was riding an A3 for 10 years switched to a Works 02 and said he felt right at home but everything was better and easier. Finished his next hard pass a couple weeks later. I love my 24 Vapor but my short demo on the Works 02 still impressed me. It made a surprising amount of space into the buoy.
  15. There aren’t any staples into fiberglass. There’s a plastic strip riveted around the motor box that covers the top edge of the carpet, then the vinyl is stapled into that strip and the edge is covered with the folded vinyl “hidem” strip.
  16. Here’s the video but it’s pretty hard to pick stuff out with the YouTube compression. Unfortunately regular pylon cameras don’t show anything and this is the only drone shot I have.
  17. Some pics, for what it’s worth: … and I’m not arguing that this is correct, it’s just how I’ve been going about it and what goes through my head. This was a particularly windy day, to the point I was barely able to run tailwind passes. Pictured pass below is into the wind, 36/-25’ (half loop). 8 months ago but I suspect I started left a little later, and held an edge longer than normal because of the headwind. 1) Starting edge-out, 55’s circled: 2) 55’s are at windshield here. Can’t see but I followed along in the video. Obviously still on edge: 3) About stood up. 55’s at swim platform: 4) In glide, 55’s circled. Take away the stiff headwind and I suspect at this point, the 55’s would have still been alongside the boat.
  18. Not sure on Malibu but that's still at least a $110K Prostar and I suspect about the same for a 200.
