Baller rbuss4 Posted August 5, 2022 Baller Share Posted August 5, 2022 After years of support and use of Radar skis, bindings, ropes, gloves, etc. I have now been disappointed and let down by a quality and more particularly a customer support issue. Bought the Vapor-K Boa gloves and used them for 20-ish sessions. I only ski about 10-15 minutes per session. One of the gloves has torn at the wrist. Contacted Redshift about possible warranty; they seemed pretty positive and willing to help about a possible remedy with Radar. Heard back today that Radar denied any coverage or replacement. Seems to me that a $100 glove should hold up better and last more than 15-20 uses.
Baller MBlohm Posted August 5, 2022 Baller Share Posted August 5, 2022 That’s not a warranty issue. That’s due to that you pull in the fabric while putting them on. Make sure the glove is wet before and be gentle while putting them on.

Baller UCFskier Posted August 5, 2022 Baller Share Posted August 5, 2022 gloves are a disposable item. I would say that nothing you have shown limits the usefulness of the glove. if you bummed about the tear take it to a seamstress to chuck a stitch in it. Baller rbuss4 Posted August 6, 2022 Author Baller Share Posted August 6, 2022 Other glove is perfect, no sign of stress or tearing there. Only this glove like the fabric is thinner than the other glove
Baller skierjp Posted August 6, 2022 Baller Share Posted August 6, 2022 Same question as Horton, when did you buy them and what year model are the gloves?
Baller skimtb Posted August 7, 2022 Baller Share Posted August 7, 2022 I love those gloves. On 2nd pair. Didn’t have that happen on either. As stated, get them wet and pull on nicely.
Baller rbuss4 Posted August 7, 2022 Author Baller Share Posted August 7, 2022 2020 I think is the model. Purchased nov 2020. Skied 3 times 2021 and season over dues to injury. Another 12-15 runs this year is all these have been used for. Kept in sealed bag so they did not dry out, and I always pull them on with thumb and forefinger pulling on the palm area of the glove past the velcro
