Baller LK_skier Posted September 29, 2022 Baller Share Posted September 29, 2022 What score can you run in the course? My regular good practice set is 3 or 4@32. I’m challenging myself to drop a good amount and run 32 more often than not. Also I get tired quickly and I’m sore the days following which restricts how much I can ski. Just interested to see how the bigger guys go.
Baller UWSkier Posted September 29, 2022 Baller Share Posted September 29, 2022 Regularly ski into 28 off, occasionally run it. I get on the course about once a month on average so my issue isn't weight/size as much as it is course reps. 6'5" 252lb as of this morning.I don't get real sore from skiing when I'm skiing regularly enough. It's when I take a few weeks off between sets that I get sore.My biggest size-related physical issue is with my skin on my hands coming apart if I don't tape up. I may be the biggest guy on the dock, but my skin is the same strength as everyone else's.
Members Bionaraq
My dumbass spent most of the season just trying to get up on a slalom. 6'3" 285lbs. So 0. ;) Glad to hear there are other big guys that can and do get up there to cut the course.
Baller jpwhit Posted September 30, 2022 Baller Share Posted September 30, 2022 One of the guys in my ski club is in that weight range and regularly skies into 35 off at 34 mph.
