  1. Everyone wants to rule the world…Should be a song…Wait!
  2. Thank you Horton. Framing everything as good or evil, nefarious or righteous is for the hysterical. The Chicken Little News outlet gets very boring, very fast…
  3. Coaching seems like great advice at this point. I once asked a neighbor and accomplished bicyclist for his thoughts when I was getting back into the sport. He advised me to use my old bike and ride for the foreseeable future. He said, “ I see a lot of riders with $5-10K bikes and 99 cent legs.”
  4. I really enjoyed this discussion format. Please keep it up.
  5. Many thanks to all. So, I am hearing that there is no technical/strategic reason/advantage that many of the top skiers choose the 12" handle. If that is the case, I will certainly choose what feels best to me. If any of the skiers listed on InTow want to comment otherwise I am all ears.
  6. I need a new handle. I have a ML custom, 1.0, 13". While browsing ML and inTow I noticed that many of the top skiers use a 12" handle. Is there a technical reason for this or just preference?
  7. @Razorskier1 what length is your ski?
  8. Never underestimate the power of humor. With that said, pandas are the BOMB! Finally testing my Denali today...
  9. It is my understanding that they have separate molds for each size.
  10. I believe that Adam said I was #5. First 65" I think.
  11. Mine arrived today! Just took it out of the box and it is beautiful... Need binding measurement, then off to the course for the first set.
  12. Definitely fact, he is standing on the podium with it. As we ponder which new (expensive) ski to buy, it would be nice to know why Nate switched back when he is talking it up above.
  13. Soooo, is Nate riding an ARC or a Quest?
  14. Mucho Gracias, Wish... Can't wait for my delivery.
  15. I am on the list for a Denali and would welcome more comments on the newest version. Thanks...
  16. Will Nate be skiing on the ARC? Is it somewhat an evolution of the Quest?
  17. Well, another reminder not to procrastinate. I have followed Andy for years, bought his videos and said that I would schedule lessons when I was in Orlando. My opportunity has sadly passed and who knows how many balls I could have added to the count! My thoughts are with his family. RIP
  18. Thanks, all helpful and good reminders. Last question, any rule of thumb between skier weight and flex?
  19. Sorry for the delay. How does flex (soft/stiff) effect the turning characteristics of a ski? Thanks.
  20. Thank you. The "harmony " comment is a helpful reminder. And, certainly best to try skis... However, there is no place locally to try skis. I currently ski on a Goode 9900 and like it but get confused when reading all of the marketing stuff and trying to read between the lines. Flex was something that perplexes me when factoring all of a ski's characteristics. Are there any good articles? Thanks again.
  21. So, I am pondering the idea of a new ski and want to better understand "flex". How does it effect the ski? Does a skiers weight effect the optimal flex choice? Etc...
  22. Great video! Keep this type of video coming everyone. Considerably more interesting/informative than trendy music and an drone shot of someone skiing from afar or slow motion laughing...
