I'm a 30 mph skier on a 16 66 lithium vapor at 5'6 165 I came off a 67 senate. I just love the way the vapor turns compared to the senate. Could be the size also. I had a pb over the weekend of 4 and 1/2 at 28 off.

I think you need to experiment and find what works best for you. I find looking at the back of the boat helps keep me open to the boat and with me still working on my bad form helps me. My friends look before the bouy. I have tried that and I end up leading with my shoulder on my off side and then getting bent at the wake.

This morning one of my ski partners had that exact same fall. He was ok but not the ski. Got back in the boat and the top layer of his brand new 34 mph ski was cracked all the way across from rail to rail under his front binding.

@Weappa I was just thinking that. With the 34 mph ski`s getting better and more popular and commanding more$$. Only I need a 66.

I have been using mixture 25% Eagle one wax as you dry 25% vinegar 50% water found that formula on here. Been working well for me. Too much vinegar strips the wax off your boat.

@One_Ski I first heard he was hurt here from @Horton. Last sunday he told us what happened. Since Whitney mentioned it on the webcast I guess its no secret he got caught up in a ski rope. It was pretty scary.

It took a lot of courage for Nate to even compete in that event. I got a lesson last Sunday from him and he was still in a lot of pain. He said no one would be mad if he took off a lot longer to heal. But being stubborn he was going to ski Monday and see how he felt. Notice he got his 3 ball at 41 and called it a day.

Hold it by your pylon and lay it on passenger side gunnel and make sure it lines up and doesn`t hit windshield. They make different contours for different boats. Start as slow as you can without sinking. That 69 senate should not sink on you at 28 mph that's where I started.

Since this jerk has been skiing your course for 12 years. Have you ever approached this guy and asked him to chip in for supplies? 5 of us maintain 2 courses on public water. There are some others that like to ski it that dont help with maintenance. We approached them in a nice way and they agreed to pitch in. Now every time we order supplies we text them and divide it amongst all of us.

Radar has great products and think its great that they try to improve every year and love the hype. The guys who can afford the new ski`s buy them and the middle income guys like me can buy there old ones. I picked up a 2016 66 lithium vapor end of last season for $400 shipped and a pair of 2016 vapor bindings for $225 shipped on SIA. Both were near mint condition and it`s not like Nate or Freddy was skiing the ski.

@ecno and @gt2003 I too feel your pain. I have the same issue. Every lesson I get bend your ankles and knees get on top of ski. Every time I straighten my legs I get told dont do it. I know everything I am supposed to do but dammit it`s just harder for some people to get hips up. Maybe I will try @Horton advise for a while.
