  1. I got mine Sept 22nd.  But have been unable to ski it till this week because my priorities are totally backwards.

That being said… I’ve been impressed with how easily the ski gets you early in the course. And how forgiving it seems to be so far.

My personal best in practice is 2 @39 @34mph.  I haven’t skied since Sept 10th and ran a set yesterday on my old ski to knock the cob webs off.  Last night took one set on a new ski pretty much in the dark just to ride it.  Took 3 sets today and ran clean 35’s on each one… took a poke at 38 and ran 4.5.

Im really sore and gonna hurt for a week… but the c-95 blew my mind   Not really sure the words to describe it… you just gotta try one.

  2. Yeah. LLC is a great idea. Unfortunately I have to run commercial liability insurance for the boat and the property. I think it’s good up to 20 members before they care. Essentially my members are viewed as “employees” and they are required to have a trained drivers rating and current cpr/first aid certainly.

It’s wayyyy more expensive than a personal boat policy… but required from a liability perspective. (IMO)

If you’re interested in a quote just dm me and I’ll send you his email/phone number.

  3. Hey ballers quick thread resurrection. I’m going to be in Navarre fl this week just east of Pensacola. Hopefully some one on here needs a ski partner one weekday afternoon? Or suggestions on where I can pay for a set.... looks like ski watch estates is pretty close.

If not I’ll be in fair hope AL near the end of the week if anyone has any ski contacts there.

If so feel free to respond to this thread or DM me

    Thanks!

  4. @McKnight I have a family friendly ski-pond less than an hour from downtown Knoxville. If you and your family ever want to check it out just let me know. I grew up on Loudon and love skiing there although there’s no course anymore. A lot of guys that ski here also ski Melton hill. I’d be happy to help introduce you.
  5. Our club is still skiing. Trying to maintain the social distancing and be smart about who drives and how we transition. (We only run 1 boat on the lake)... That being said, We have definitely considered shutting down. Luckily we're on a private pond, so we just wipe down the controls between drivers and not ride any passengers in the boat (except for immediate family)
  6. Also, I unhooked one of the back webbing hooks. Then Just used a stainless carabiner so I didn’t have to screw it back in....

My son went from getting up for the first time this May, to getting up on a slalom for the first time yesterday. I’m sure other skis will work great... but I’ve had great luck with the O’Brien’s
