  1. It rips, everyone i put on it skis well first set, it is aggressive so it might turn too hard at first and give you more speed than you are used to but once you settle into it it really is a fun ski.
  2. Loved seeing Old Hickory Lake in the video haha!! Trying to keep your inside shoulder up in the 2,4,6 turn will probably help you a ton. Other than that, making sure your hips are forward through the whole turn will stop the pause between turning and pulling. Come down to Swerve Watersports in Manchester TN!
  3. @AdamCord‌ Ya that sounds like it may work! thanks, I'm in snow ski building mode right now but as it starts to warm up i will begin this project.
  4. I have used surgical gloves under my gloves in winter, seems to help a bit. I've always hated when it gets too cold to hold onto the handle. I just try to keep my gloves dry as long as possible, getting pulled out of the water is the hard part.
  5. How do you do resin infusion with no transfer media in the mold? is there enough space between the mold and core that you do not need any resin transfer media and peel ply? But then again I could be misunderstanding something. Thanks for this thread, I've been making trick skis and will most likely build a slalom or two this winter.
  6. I recently got on the O'brien G5, out of the box it took a little fin tweaking to get comfortable. But once I got it dialed in it felt great, its quick side to side seems to create more width than any other ski I have been on. I haven't been as consistent on it as my previous ski but that was a long term relationship with a D3 X5, and I feel with a little more time I can get really dialed in. It has helped me run some of the smoothest 38's I've ever felt.
