  1. @Horton it looks like this review is quite demanding.. I ended up (after 6-7 sets) with something close to alt1 settings but with front boot 3/16 back from factory: 0.710 slot 6.813 (jaws Goode caliper, if interested I can provide tips measurement) 2.483 28 14/16 9
  2. @Bruce_Butterfield thanks for the input, however I am somewhat confused settings for the 9970cc are 6,780, 2.485 and 0,735 looks like you have altered all three settings, length and DFT substantially.
  3. @Bruce_Butterfield still using the fin on the XT? Standard settings or alternative (1 or 2) and if yes, what are your current settings with the CG fin and how has changed/improved the attributes of the ski?
  4. @Horton thanks for posting. If measuring with a slot caliper can you post length with jaws is it at factory?
  5. @Horton when ready to post fin settings please post also front and back binding placement.
  6. We have experienced a heat wave last weekend in Greece, water 26C (78) air 36-38C (97-100). Unusually high temperatures for this time of the year.
  7. Guys has anybody tried the fin on an XTR or XTRCC? If yes can you share settings (with slot caliper or normal, jaws or tips, caliper) vs standard fin and how did it feel?
  8. @Horton any more sets on the ski? When do you expect to finalise your review?
  9. @Horton looking forward for your upcoming review.
  10. @AdamCord very enlightening, for many years (my coach Dimitri Kourounis urged me to do so) I am trying to implement the first, starting my turn at the first wake, but neglecting the second. The few times that I implemented the second my skiing was one level up.
  11. @adamhcaldwell I have sent a message on SIA and awaiting response.
  12. 72 last Saturday and 70 on Sunday partly cloudy and some showers in the morning
  13. Plastic buckles are preferable than aluminum ones for release purposes and also out of experience they open up with pressure on release situations.
  14. @mbabiash I guess for safety and release reasons but I do not believe out of experience that it was necessary. In addition, I don't know whether by moving the top buckle down you give up on overall feeling and support.
  15. @A_B never had a release problem, although I have not skied in an RTP for many years my feeling is that the release is as easy.
  16. @skialex It is not softness that I like about the "home made" GOODE R-Style but the heel upward movement possibility that the springs provide.
  17. Improvement in practice consistency counts.
  18. @Horton what about that 2@41 goal I set for you... Did you come any closer?
  19. @S1Pitts thanks along with the numbers please also post how did it feel/results.
  20. Anybody on the current threads subject? Any settings or feedback for trying any of the two fins with the GOODE REVOLUTION?
  21. R-style size? (left as I can tell from the photo, correct?)
  22. Unfortunately 185km (117 miles) around 2 hours drive (+- 10 min depending on traffic) but no gators....
  23. I will order the C75 when @Horton runs 2 at 41off
