    No. The D3 NRG was its own new model. The D3 Evo replaced the D3 Arc, The D3 Ion replaced the Evo, The D3 Ion2 replaced the D3 Ion.

    @MJE What fin adjustments did you make to get the D3 Ion-S dialled in? Also what size?

    Charlie is on a 66 at the moment I believe. Not all that long ago he was on a 65 tho. He’s definitely lighter than some that run a 66 but it clearly shows that long skis can work super well.

    Great question. I went from a double boot to the HRT and it was a simple transition. At first I skied it cranked up tight like a back boot, as I went on with it I slowly did it up looser and looser until it wasn’t like much of a back boot. Then I switched to a RTP and the transition was seamless. I believe that if I went straight to a RTP it would have been a nightmare. Go for the HRT! More ankle flex ion will help your skiing!

    Went for my first ski of the year today and probably my 6th ever time on the RTP my biggest takeaway is that the RTP is definitely a large improvement for me.

    My 67” ION-S is at stock on the fin with the boots 1/8 back of stock. I have only skied on it twice at the end of last season and I liked it. Just curious if there are any settings that people really like on the 67 ION/ION-S that are worth considering giving a shot after I settle in on it when my season starts up.

    Lots of smart money owns $MCFT rn. (Prem Watsa owns a boatload). On top of that it came up in one of my algos recently which made me smile as a skier. (All of my positions are a tiny % of acct size tho) as I run a multi strategy book.
