  1. Hi All, just got back into skiing after a long hiatus. I wasn't very good to begin with, but in three very productive sessions, I am back and having lots of fun again. However, when I drop a ski and go slalom, the outside of my back leg is getting beaten to death with spray coming up from the edge of the ski. I am on a 2012 Connelly (sorry, I don't know the model, but I know it's blue/white/black and is very wide) combo set (even has a training bar and t-bolts that came with them). I do not see any physical damage to the ski causing this. It seems to be happening both when I am just dragging along behind the boat as well as when I cut. I am wondering if this is a function of the wider ski, some mistake I am making, or some other issue. Any thoughts please?
