I just upgraded from a 2013 senate c to a 2020 senate graphite. I absolutely love the ski. I tried my buddies 2019 senate alloy prior to buying and the graphite was the way to go.
Thanks again to brooks for telling me to get the graphite instead of alloy.
So I’ve been collecting some vintage skis over the past year and a few of them are pretty beat up. I would like to refinish them so my wife will be cool with hanging them in the basement. Anyone have experience doing this? They have decals that I don’t want to rub off.
I finally have a dedicated ski boat (02 196) and want to erase years of bad habits and become a good skier. I have 3-5 neighbors that would probably want coaching as well. We are all around the 15 off 30mph kind of skiers right now. Anyone know of a coach in NE Indiana? Thanks
I currently have a blacktec 1.5 but it’s a little cold wearing late into the season. I also have a Drysuit but it chokes the crap out of me so I hate wearing it. Do you think the 2.0 would be that much warmer and worth the investment? Thanks
Cost really isn't the big consideration here. I just don't want to pay for something that isn't necessary for my abilities. Is there a difference between ML, radar, in-tow, etc.. 5 section mainline for someone that doesn't tournament ski?
I'm in the market for a new rope for myself and one for my buddy who's boat we usually ski behind. We mostly free ski but will hit the course and run 15-22 off. Each of our ropes are 7+ years old so it's definitely time. With all of that being said, what mainline do you recommend? I've seen a lot of master line and U.S. Gear recommendations but wasn't sure if a $100 mainline is necessary for people with our ability. Thanks for your input.
I had originally planned to buy an S1 but after talking with more people it sounds like a senate c will fit my skiing much better. Looking for a 2013 senate c 67". Thanks
