  1. Thanks for the input guys. I am heading to the lake tomorrow and i will take your advice with me. If i can get some video then i will try to get it posted up.
  2. This is a great thread for me as well. I conistantly get -15 @ 30 but struggle at 32mph, and I know for me this is edge change and keeping outward direction after 2nd wake. I am curious also to hear what level Ski people in this thread are on. I am on a HO VTR 68. Am I over my head with this ski? I ski the course twice a week from April through October on average.
  3. This makes me want to pull the trigger. From this description it makes me think it would fit my abilities better then the V TypeR I am on. I also have a CX Superlite that I enjoy for open water.
  4. Yep, put mine in the back of my truck with my English Bulldog for the trip out to the lake, had to borrow a rope when i got there!
  5. Ran across this one on a mountain bike ride the other day here in Chico Ca.
  6. I use the current model Vector and like them, So look forward to trying this version with the Boa system!
  7. @MarcusBrown Yeah, it was a great day in D Vill, Doing the Tower 2 Town was pretty sweet. And i would love to ride the new Nomad. Let me know if you have an Omni come your way, probably wrapping our ski season up, so if not this year maybe the begining of next season. Good seeing you up there. Thanks Marcus
  8. Just skied my PB of 15 off @ 32 mph! Started my season at 30 mph, so it took some time but it was clean! To bad our season may be wrapping up next week, So I celebrate a successful season! .
  9. The only reason i voted for written is that sometimes i might be in a place i can't watch the video for different reasons, but if there was a both choice i would have taken that.
  10. Always enjoy getting some Free Turns at our cabin on Philbrook Lake in Nor. Cal. The skiing season is short because it turns to mud in about 3 months, but the sunsets never get old.
  11. @MarcusBrown, Do you have a 69 version i can come try:) I like my VTR but this could be really good for my speed and line lengths. How much different is it than the Superlite CX? I have this ski also and find it to be a great crossover model. I would love to attain your rusty level of skiing.
  12. @savaiusini will there be an HO demo program for the Syndicate version? I am 210 and working my way into 32 mph.
  13. Went and watched the finals yesterday and my daughter and I had a great time. And it was great to see CP do so well! Also really like the jump and trick exposition at the end, and I think it was good way to get some people to stay for the awards. I only hope it can be a little hotter out next year!
  14. Is there a time for the jump exhibition on Sunday? I going down and that would be fun to watch also.
  15. Nice ski, I have that same one and love it. Also have that truck, love it also.
  16. Anywhere between Sacramento and and Chico in Nor. Cal. is a good bet and the further north the cheaper it gets to live. We have plenty of open water skiing and many private lakes and membership lakes. There is great riding, both on and off road and tons of hiking opritunities. But it is California and alltimitly it is more expensive then most places.
  17. Learned to start dragging a leg because the boat I learned behind did not have enough power, but I am double boot now and all the boats Ski behind have more than enough power. I also learned to shore start on the Colorado river near Needles Ca., so I have kinda covered most all starts.
  18. I really enjoyed watching this through out the day here on the west coast. Only wish I could have seen the end. Well Done.
  19. First ski run of the season yesterday on Lake Oroville. 1.5mm top on and the water wasn't bad, just had to keep an eye out for debris. Gave us a chance to give the boat an opening up also.
  20. Yeah a friend of mine, told me this story. Urban legend it is.
  21. I enjoyed this on the way to NorthStar yesterday morning, what a great way to drive through an hour. I even passed by The Ridge on my way out of town. Great stuff @MarcusBrown, keep it up! And @Horton, I was told a story that one of your jumps early on ended in a chicken coup. Any truth, or urban Legend?
  22. I enjoyed this podcast while on a MTB ride in Bidwell park yesterday. Good stuff, thanks @MarcusBrown
