  1. Has Moomba closed?? I'm not seeing it on my tournament list
  2. @escmanaze the main difference is the ski feels more responsive with the profile and feel like they ‘hug’ your foot a little more.
  3. @escmanaze i have used the vectors, profiles and now have vapors with boa laces. I love the vapors and would recommend them to anyone. The profiles did feel a little more connected with the ski compared to the vectors but if i was going to choose between the two i would get the vectors for two resons. 1) the boa laces on the ltd editions (a shame the ltds dont come with the alum. plate option) and 2) the profiles take freaking forever to dry out because the liner isn't removable. Just my two cents
  4. @Horton nice review. How did you find the new shape compared with the 15/16 shape.
  5. @wettek69 keep in mind that the cx sl is the same construction as the senate lithium (pvc core), not the graphite. Possibly why @blagrata may have felt a 'little more drag' on the senate.
  6. @TallSkinnyGuy I am the same level skier as you and have a Senate Lithium (coming off a Theory) and haven't had any stability issues and find it to be very forgiving. It most certainly 'falls' on edge very easily and can be a little twitchy on glassy water when skiing flat, but have never found it to be at a level where it is unsettling. If the extra price can be justified I would recommend this ski to anyone. I have skiied on a Graphite and felt a noticable difference to the Lithium (stiffer and faster).
  7. I heard that the Lithium is now the second ski in the line up!!
  8. @sethro if you know a good sign writer i reckon they would be able to cut black or even carbon look vinyl to stick over the green. If it's good quality it shouldn't come off.
  9. @Tdub if budget isn't too much of a factor I would highly recommend the step up to the Vapors. 1) Because they are heat moldable for more custom fit. 2) The liners are removable making drying twice as quick and 3) The Boa laces are awesome. PS I am size 10 1/2 shoe and have size 12 Vapors.
  10. I have Vectors on my Theory and they are a great boot that most people can fit into and ski comfortably. However when I got my Senate Lithium I decided to go with double Vapors. They aren't quite as comfortable as the Vectors when in the water but when skiing they are night and day different as far as performance is concerned. I heated molded the linings which made them much more comfortable and gave a very custom fit. My mate has a Profile binding (which are Radar bindings (Closed toe, asymmetrical) and are between the Vector and Vapor) and it is really nice, but i thought it felt a little bulky on the ski. Another plus for the Vapors are the BOA laces. Once you have them you will never go back.
  11. @ozski a mate has a Profile and I have the '16 Vapor. There is a fair amount of difference in stiffness and overall fit and they do take a bit to break in, but you wont regret the change. I found a bigger gap from Profile to Vapor than from Vector to Profile. @jlittle yes they do come with an insole
  12. I have a Senate Lithium and it is an awesome ski. I can't comment on the difference between that and the Graphite as I haven't ski on one, however I did raise this same question in regard to a Vapor, when I was considering making the jump and @Horton reponse was, "I don't think anyone has every gone out and bought the Lithium and thought gosh I wish I had bought the Graphite". So if your happy to shell out the extra money the Lithium is definitely a nice ski. One other thing to note is I believe that Radar are going make the 2017 Senate range based on the new 2016 Vapor shape. Whereas the current 2016 Senate's are based on the '14-'15 Vapor. @eddie_roberts_jr might be able to confirm this and if the case would probably be worth the wait (if buying new).
  13. I bought an Oneill Pyrotech 4/3mm for winter and love it. I have skied in 42F water which pushed the friendship, mainly because of my feet and hands, however anything above 50F it is awesome (warmth and flexibility). My brother has a Quiksilver Fuseflex 4/3mm and my mate has a Ripcurl Flashbomb 4/3mm and they both have the same opinion in regard to the temperature and both are very happy with the flexibility. All 3 wetsuits are chest entry. On a side note my brother does have to perform some sort of houdini act to get out of his. All the top surf brands put a lot of $$ and time into R&D and you would struggle to go wrong with any of their higher end products.
