  1. @Horton your advice about straightening legs and having the front leg being more bent than the back is a little hard to picture and controversial than some professional advice I've gotten previously gotten. Not saying it's wrong I'm just having a hard time understanding it. I've always known "stacked" to be shoulders over hips, hips over feet, but with the wake crossing I've always been told to relax the legs and treat them like shock absorbers. Is this completely wrong?
  2. @oldjeep that makes sense. Appreciate you clearing it up for me.
  3. Granted, but Malibu's 20VTX is their cheapest model with an 80K msrp which is 15K cheaper than it's Nautique counterpart and even cheaper than its Mastercraft counterpart.
  4. @oldjeep never understood why Malibu took up the Axis project. A company that is known for being one of the cheaper towboats brings on another brand to compete with themselves. Maybe I'm just missing something...
  5. @Horton Just so you know the link is messed up. Forgot the colon in http://
  6. @Horton damn I wish you would've posted this sooner! That's exactly what I was doing last night! I even did a toe pass
  7. But actually tell me what I have to do because I'm the captain of the Michigan State Waterski team and we could really use a wake eye for practice!
  8. I would wakeboard for a free wakeye
  9. @epyscs thanks for the info! From what it sounds like the stealth is a really nice ski. The only thing I would be nervous about is whether I would be able to progress quickly on the ski from more of a beginner level.
  10. @Horton way ahead of you. Until then the only product you can get me to buy is Kilo Kai
  11. @horton I agree with you about the carbon pro being a sweet boat. Centurion has made great boats for a long time. I'm a broke ass collegiate skier right now so I'm not in the market to buy a boat. Just love the chance to see them and ski behind them at tournaments!
  12. I was at the Grand Rapids boat show this weekend. Really surprised and disappointed that Centurion didn't have a carbon pro there. You would think that they would make more of an effort to show off their DD. Especially since it's the cheapest tournament approved boat. The only DD there was the Prostar.
  13. @eleeski I will absolutely let everyone know how it skis if I end up buying it. Thanks for the help!
  14. @eleeski Would you suggest not taking the risk on it and maybe going towards a d3 or quantum instead? I'm only considering it because I found a 2014 closeout for a good price.
  15. @MattP Thanks for those! @ToddL I agree with you on that. I definitely focus way more on my skiing technique than anything else. I just want to have the knowledge to fin tuning to have in my back pocket! I appreciate the help!
  16. @Horton Very helpful! Thanks a lot! I'll be referring to that article all summer.
  17. Has anyone skied the reflex stealth? Just wondering if there are any complaints on the ski. Also I should point out that I am a slalom skier and planning on getting more into trick. Is this ski any less forgiving than the D3 CX or the Quantum? Thanks in advance.
  18. I'm 18 years old and have been skiing for a while and joined my college waterski team in the fall. Anyway I'm only now noticing the importance of adjusting my fin as I practice. The research I've done on it hasn't been very helpful so far. Basically hoping someone can explain how each different adjustment will affect how the ski performs.
