  1. I need some slalom balls that are solid and do not take any air. I have a accusink course and over the winter while its sunk the balls loose most of there air. This makes it difficult to rise it up for the summer. If I could replace some the regular balls with a solid foam ball that would really help.
  2. UPDATE..... I bought the sensors and prepared to figure it out. Took the boat for a spin to make sure it was still hesitating. I ran my gas down with seafoam. Put fresh gas in from a different station. It ran all weekend no issues. The station I had bought the gas from opened brand new in June so it must be where they get the gas from. A friend on the lake confirmed it as well. He said his boat was doing strange things and his truck gas milage went way up. Thanks for all the help on here! I will hold on to the sensors one more weekend just in case.
  3. What is the PCM part number for the Cam Position Sensor. I will get one from the auto deal if the Crank sensor does not solve issue
  4. Mateo_Vargas you first said the Cam sensor was in the distributor and later said its under the timing belt cover. Which location is the right one to find it?
  5. Thanks for all the help so far. I will add new gas and seafoam this weekend. Doubt that will resolve it. I will check the sensor wires and connections. If I still have an issue I will try Crankshaft position sensor first and buy it most likely at Napa or parts store up here.
  6. Can i just buy a Cam and Crank sensor from an Auto store for a GM 5.7L ? I think its for a 2002 and up from what I have seen . From the dealer in Canada the Crank is $300 plus tax
  7. I will check the connections on both sensors. Where is the cam sensor located? I have an idea from another post where the crank sensor sits. Not at my boat till the weekend
  8. I have a 2011 ski Nautique 200 Excalibur 5.7L The boat starts fine but at any speed at some point in time I can get a hesitation for a few seconds. Sometimes when I am just in gear and it happens it shuts down the boat. The error code is the title of this topic showing up. I have a new fuel filter and last year replaced plugs/ wires/ rotor/distributor/ battery /starter with no issues. The dealer said it could be Crank Position Sensor or Cam position Sensor. From other posts kinda close to my situation they changed the Throttle Sensor. Has anyone had this happen and what did you change out? Keep in mind I have no starting issue before or after it shuts the boat down. I had just filled up full of gas but the gas station is brand new and I used gas in my car with no issues from that station. Still i will try fresh gas and some seafoam cleaner stabilizer.
  9. Andy will always be my waterskiing idol. In 2011 I went to Nautique to check out my new boat after having some issues with my 2010. Ron Nace customer service rep at Nautique arranged a tour and viewing of my new 2011 boat. On the phone before I was to fly down , I said half joking " Ron what would really make me happy if you could arrange for me to meet my waterskiing idol Andy Mapple" He kind said ...well not likely but good idea with zero assurance to me that this would ever happen. I flew down with my wife, met Ron and toured the factory. Ron told us to walk out back of the factory to the test lake and your boat is now being water tested. We take the walk and reach the lake just as my boat comes flying up to the dock from the far end of the lake ...OMG theres a guy driving my 200 with a big smile on his face .. It's Andy !!! I was like a little kid all giddy and in shock.....Andy took me for a ride in my new boat and also drove me skiing and gave me tips. he was so laid back, and in no hurry to spend time with us and make sure I was happy to have this amazing day. Such a kind generous man (hero, idol) He gave so much to my favorite sport and will be soooo missed but never forgotten. I wish all the best to his family and many days of calm water in heaven.
