  1. Hey Ballers, I was looking to get a new ski at the end of last summer and was directed towards a Radar Senate. I am currently riding on a 2007 Connelly Concept. While I was looking at all the new skis over the spring I noticed that the shape and design of the new Concept looks a lot different from the Concept I have. I was curious how a 2016 Concept stakes up against a Radar Senate. I would be using it for purely free skiing with 15 off at 32mph. Also the lake I ski on is frequently choppy and not ideal conditions. Would one of those skis be better for my situation? Thanks!
  2. Congrats on your new boat! It looks beautiful and should be tons of fun for you!
  3. Thank you for all the replies this is awesome and has really given me a good idea of what I need to consider and can expect. @skis pray I have considered boat manufacturers as well. Pacific Nautiques is located south of me and is something I would be really interested in looking in to. @swc5150 I got to school in Ellensburg, WA home of D3 skis so I think I will go check them out and see who I can talk with. I am an English technical and creative writing major. The major is heavily geared towards business writing and marketing. I hear all of you saying there is not much money in the industry and I fully understand that. However, I think it would be a deservice to myself to not explore the industry and see what might be available to me.
  4. Hello Ballers, I am a senior in college set to graduate this summer and therefore, beginning to look for jobs. Due to my love for waterskiing, I has been a dream of mine to work for one of the ski companies. My question for you guys is if any of you have worked for or currently work for a ski company, what are somethings that I can be doing to make myself standout as a potential hire and how did you go about obtaining your job? Furthermore, I would be interested to hear what the average day of working at a ski company is like and what some of your duties entail.
  5. Better picture of my 1996 Ski Nautique
  6. @MNshortliner love the interior! That's a beautiful boat. Did they come with that interior design or is that custom?
  7. It's not the best picture but it's all I have for now. My 1996 Ski Nautique AKA my baby.
  8. I actually just bought a new Senate Graphite last night and put my sidewinder bindings on aswell. Thank you!
  9. Just to throw one more option into the mix, I have been looking at HO's offerings and saw that the CX is a cross between the Syndicate and the Freeride. Do you think that would be a good option or should I focus more on the Carbon V and Senate?
  10. Ok I'll see what I can find on ski it again. Also would there be any advantage moving up to a 68" ski over a 67" as @Ipskier mentioned above?
  11. @Ipskier Thanks for the head up on the '14 Carbon V I will take a strong look at that! Do you know if there is any difference between the '14 and '15 other than graphics? @gregy I have been looking at the Senates for awhile now, do you know what the main difference is between the Graphite and Alloy versions are? Would one be better suited for my skiing profile over the other?
  12. Hi ballers, I am looking for some advice on a new ski. I am 6'2" 170lbs. I purely free ski 15 off @ 32mph. I would say I am an intermediate/advanced skier still working on tweaking my form. Also I am currently on a 2007 Connelly Concept. My budget is $700
  13. I am considering purchasing a blank Radar Theory ski and putting my Connelly Sidewinder Bindings on it. I am just wondering if they will fit on the ski?
  14. Thanks for the help guys! I'll take a look at the cable tomorrow
  15. This summer my 1996 Ski Nautique's steering has been extremely tight. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
