hi all I am looking for some input on installing a insta slalom course we put it in and pull mainline tight but course will not go straight does anyone have any ideas as to why this might be happening? any input would be good thanks.

@ Nicad I'm not sure if it is the same boat you are looking at or not but there is a master craft 200 for sale in toronto that is posted on kijiji the guy is asking 12,500 looks decent (but he only has two pictures) comes with a barefoot boom that if you don't have a use for I know a guy who would be interested in purchasing from you. if you decide to pull the trigger.

I am looking at two different boats a 2003 rlxi with around 600 hrs person is asking 22000 and a 2004 nautique 206 with 450 hrs person is asking 25000 anyone with knowledge of both these boats could you please give me thoughts on the two

@SM glad to see you got a new boat and i agree with everyone else amazingly fast. you must have went home right after the accident and started looking hahaha, looks nice and clean, i never look in nova scotia it's farther than I would want to travel but I definitely would for the right boat. enjoy it.

wow thats sucks probably a little scary when it happened. I don't know if you looked on kijiji but there are a few boats on there, look in ontario an quebec, I am always browsing seems like you can get a better deal in quebec little more selection aswell but i did see a nautique in muskoka that looks to be very good shape for the age 1990. might be worth a look. Happy boat hunting.

i had the exact same thing happen with the cover bleeding into my seats tried washing it off with magic eraser and several different mold and mildew products nothing worked. Like you I was very discouraged two weeks went by it was gone looks as good as new. hopefully yours ends up the same way, just kind of wanted to give you a little relief maybe and hopefully not a false sense of hope good luck

I have the original vtx bought it when i was 14 or 15 it mostly just sits in my ski rack in shed as I have different ski now but I might be awfully tempted to get the new one as I loved the old one I'm sure it ski's the same just a whole lot better lol

boat is new to me last season has always been this way since i have had it but I am pretty sure that slalom mode has worked in the past because it has peoples names and speeds set in the display @Justin_C I'm guessing it's pp classic because it doesn't say stargazer or 6.4 in the display module but it's not really my area of expertise @Orlando76 I do not believe that there is a smart timer, (not sure how to tell lol)

Hi I was hoping i could get a little help/insight into my perfect pass. If I have it in wakeboard mode the system will work properly but when in slalom mode it will beep like it does when the boat starts to take over control of the speed but goes right on past the speed you have set. and never really stopping just keeps going like you are running it with the system turned off. thanks for any input

I have a 2006 t5 I really like it. I haven't skied enough behind other DD boats to really compare wakes that well. but for me it works well I ski the course at 28 off sometimes get into 32 and wakes are decent. also I'm a family guy so the walk through open bow is nice, and i live on a public lake so when its busy it handles wave and chop well for this style of boat. hopes this helps.

Hi all I'm looking at buying a used portable slalom course ( insta slalom) is there anything that i should look for when buying or anything i should be wary about. any input would be appreciated thanks

keep your hips up, it looks like you stop pulling before you get to wake and then start again after you cross the wakes try to accelerate through the wakes so then you don't have to pull after the second wake because you should be stating to change your edge here, others will chin in here and probably explain better than I but I hope it helps.

was out last weekend just cruising with the family and hit an unmarked shoal prop is toast when I had the prop taken off one of the guys thought that the shaft might be bent and said if it was that i would know as soon as i drove the boat. ( vibrations and how the boat performs) also said I might be able to get the rest of the season out of it. anyway I took the boat out and it feels great is there a chance there is a problem and I just can't feel it or is possible that the shaft is ok? any thoughts on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

anyone have any experience with either of these boats I currently have the centurion find the wake to be a little on the hard side thinking of selling and going to the malibu but want to be sure it is worth while.

Thanks for all the input I think we will have a real good look at going. Wife and I went to mexico last year all inclusive going to jamaica this year for a friends wedding. I find it to slow at these resorts then I came across an ad for ski paradise looks perfect for me but she doesn't ski. but sounds like non skiers enjoy it as well.
