  1. Hey ballers

I recently had a look at kd skis website and browsed through their 2016 models. I have to admit that I didn't really know about them before and it seems like there is not much going on about that company in general. Is thereany reason why you hear not nearly as much about them as you can do with radar and the other companies ?

I think that especially the 2016 Lithium, Redline and Ex look pretty appealing. So are those skis worth the money ?

  2. Hey ballers I'd like to know which ski you consider to be the most beautiful when it comes to graphics and design. If you have pictures it would be nice if you could post those and of course coustom skins etc can be posted as well :)

Id like to start with my custom skin I ordered but unfortunately it has not arrived yet.

  3. Hey ballers

I've been doing some research on the Prophecy lately. From @Horton reviews I understand that the 2013 one seems to be more user friendly than the 2012. So what about the Connelly Prophecy 2014 ? Are there any improvements compared to the earlier model ?

  4. @Chef23 At the moment I am using some O'Brien X9 bindings that were flying around sice I ordered my ski without bindings (superlight TX).

I also have a pretty good deal on some xMax bindings ?!

And hardshells are prob too much for me right now since I only got into the course about 1 year ago.

  5. Hey ballers.

I am considering to switch my bindings and my friend told me how great the animal boots he demoed were.

So my question would be if anyone here has some experience with those bindings and if so : what do you think about them ?

  6. Thanks everyone.

The thing is simply that he is skiing behind the boat too and wants to hit the slalom course but just not as often. So thats why he is looking for a ski that is good for slalom behind the boat but can also be used at the slow speeds of the cable park without riding too low therefore making it unskiable.

Would it make a difference if the ski is lighter ? For example choosing a wide and light ski ( maybe going for the superlite TX instead of the normal version ).

Edit : There is no slalom course in that cable park he is justgoing there to practice his position on the ski and all that stuff like for example he is trying to make turns leaning as deep as possible.

  7. His weight is around 165 lbs that is why i thought that the CX or TX could still be possible at that speed. And it would also be quite good if they would work since he wants to use the same ski to ride behind the boat (that is also why he wants to have a 67" ).

So I guess the CX is not suited for speeds around 20-22 ? Then my next ski I could think of are either the TX or the HO Freeride ...

@gt2003 we are both living in Germany that would make it a bit complicated to buy your ski :D

  8. Hey Ballers,

My friend lives near a cable park and since he does not get to ski behind a boat too often he decided to visit the cable park to get at least a bit of training at lower speeds. He wants to get his own ski but has no clue on what to buy. So I told him that I would ask you guys for him.

Apparently he is quite an advanced free skier and I thought about recommending the HO CX or even TX but I really do not know if those two ski can be driven at lower speed too.

The cable park runs at only 20-22 mph most of the time. Which ski would you guys recommend ? Or are the CX and TX suited for those speeds aswell ?

  9. Thanks for the answers I guess I will stay with my decision of buying the CX if the Tx is just wider.

It really seems like a lot of people are getting into slalom these days but that is not too strange since it is a beautiful sport ^^ @Porkfight I always prefered to ride a slalom ski over combo ski or the wakeboard although a lot of people tried to convince me to go for wakeboarding
