@ballsohard that was me skiing. I just started on that goode a few weeks before that video was taken. Was on a Connolly GT before.

I dont think the record has been made official but Northern Ca seems to be the mecca of 90+ year old waterskiing...
-
Is that prop good for high altitude?
-
@bigskieridaho are those lakes annual memberships can be done or is it a homeowner only situation?
-
what options are there for memberships?
Considering relocating the family at somepoint (out of N. Ca) and my wife wants something that has 4 seasons but not so far north that its insanely cold. I want to be near mountains. But would like to not give up the slalom course.
Prefer to stay near the west coast.
What options do I have?

Here js the Bimini on my 02. I believe it is original to the boat but was never used until 2016 by the original owner.

@bananaron this one is pristine!

@Horton is there anyway you can get a interview with Regina to have her walk through this pass and what was going through her mind?
If this isn't the logo for BOS I don't know what is.
This is truly amazing physical feat and I can only imagine the type of strength and sheer determination it must take to pull this off.

Radar makes race skis?
Is that girl even wearing gloves?
-
Or post pictures of the boat

Paid coaching is where I would start. One lesson from a good coach would likely save tons of headache trying to figure it out yourself.
Horton posted about the benefits for his ski partner and how much of a difference a lesson from a legit coach made. Ill try and find the post.

Enough about the stretchiness of the ropes. When are we going to address the wetness of the water and how that impacts scores?

@Horton @ToddL

Maybe someone gets car sick

So what your saying is you burn more fuel the faster the engine spins?
Can you track how many gallons that are burned in an average 6 pass set?
-
Not skiing or boating related... but still randomness on the internet.

@Rednucleus I think we all want to see tail twerking. I think it would build revenue for ball of spray.
-
Other, hop in and feel for shrinkage.

Does that open up your lake house for use?
-
How many times did it take you to record this?

@adamhcaldwell I think @Horton is into data analysis so I nominate him. Also good chance for him to teach Burford on the merits of excel.

Reflex bond plate.

I'm in the same boat. The black frame needs to be repainted. Since its worn where the original owners put the mirror and on the passenger side where the dock line rubs against it.
I much prefer the aluminum from later years. Would be interested in the process to do that.
@thager would you just use a paint stripper?

I think whatever you are hearing about fit and finish is from older models.
I understand not considering a brand because they don't make a model that fits your needs. I wont buy a Toyota because they don't offer the crew cab with a 6'+ bed.
Goode skis unique technique requirement

@ballsohard I have to rewatch the video. I watched it earlier in the week when I had a nasty head cold and couldn't really concentrate.
For what its worth I think my Nano1 is a deep riding ski. In a lot of ways it feels very similar to the Connelly GT I was riding the last few years. The only difference I would say is with the wider fore-body I feel like I get a little extra support on the Goode since I have a bad tendency to crush on the exit of the turn (likely do to a number of faults before that). When I was reading past ski reviews I liked the comments of the stability and I have noticed a number of situations where I think I saved a turn that I wouldn't have pulled out before.
That being said, one area I have struggled with this ski especially initially is getting wide early This may lead to that double pump which is probably due to my poor execution of keeping the handle in and low through the edge change. I received similar feedback from Terry Winter earlier in the summer on that and its been one area I have been trying to work at. I feel like with the Goode it shuts down pretty quickly and if if I am not riding the handle out I can ski narrow.
Anyway season is done for the year so I only have 6 or 7 months to think about all the things I need to fix next year...
