  1. I have a L Evo2 since 3 years at least.....the best in the business regarding floatation and durability. I am 6'2'' and 175 pounds but since I ski in cold water most of the time I do wear a top and it fits nice and snug. Can't go wrong with Stokes

  2. Vision is very important for me too. Looking down the lake right before the bouy, seeing the next one in front of the boat across and keping my head staight and like Horton said, it helps me to keep my shoulder square and it gives me a better surrounding awareness. On my glide I try to picture the whole slalom scene

  3. @braindamage and @skialex yes I ski on Geneva lake or we should call it lac Léman....We have a slalom cours in Geneva and we have access through La Nautique from March to mid-November

There is no private slalom ski course in Switzerland because it is prohibited (don't know why..)

I think you might be able to ski at Cham on lake Zug, they have a waterski club but beside that we ski mostly in France nearby where we can have normal conditions which is not the case on the lake during summer time or windy conditions ..... to give you an idea, last year we had more than 35% cancellation due to weather. So from Zürich and the area, you have to go to Italy, or Austria maybe in Germany.

Go to https://waterskination.com/ and there is a map with a lot of places where you can ski and click on "find a waterski lake"

Good luck and if you need any infos .... don't hesitate to contact me through my email cholivet@gmail.com

  4. 65 this year and competing since 2015 and love it and still improving until ......I'll let you know

Hard part is I ski on a open water in Geneva (Swiss) and the water is very cold (45° to 58) and we go to a tournament and the water is 68° to 78° ..... not the same feeling ....
