  1. 16 lithium has "the right stuff" I'll wait another year and use deductive reasoning. My philosophy is "if it isn't broken don't fix it" Intrigued by Denali
  2. Reflex or mob is your answer. Rubber is antiquated. 2 serious sprains and and fracture on rubber. You're apprehension/fear will disappear. Stuff the tip and no worries, reconnect and go again.
  3. I bought reflex for 2 reasons. 1. release 2. Achilles strap
  4. I would say 50% of the regulars I ski with are on reflex. All shortline(28-35off) 34mph. We have all blown ankles using "non release" bindings. No problems since, it's just a matter of overcoming change.
  5. After missing a month of work twice because of a 3rd degree sprain then a broken ankle that required surgery. Went to reflex. No issues in 2 years
  6. I have big hands. I alternate between 1.1 diameter radius handle/thinner thin radar gloves and smaller diameter handle/liners with same thin gloves. Basically eliminating elbow pain this year and changing pressure points regularly.
  7. So you'll be skiing on your usual mirror lake. Unfair advantage
  8. Will there be a sign up/schedule to demo at SMRR or 1st come first serve?
  9. Think they've finally got the right material. I received this reflex replacement after going through multiple "brittle" heel stabilizers. It's still in one piece after 20plus sets.
  10. if you have some buddies that ski same length ski, share the demo price and pass it around.
  11. The older white, honeycomb cup is just too brittle. It's cracks as soon as it's stressed in any direction, first ride. I've had two of these and both worked better after I filled cracks with gorilla glue. I emailed France and they sent me the newest rev. I won't mount it till my current, repaired, cup disintegrates. Photos attached
  12. In Texas it blows constantly but year round skiing makes it tolerable.
  13. Ski early and when your finished do a little free skiing being sure to buzz the "anglers" multiple times. They'll get the hint.
  14. I change handle diameter every other set. I have also started alternating hands for Iphone use and scrolling. My pain is gone.
  15. "Knees, trees, freeze" "Hips up, knees bent, shoulders back, entercourse"
  16. I'm a 10.5DD and use reflex. Width is not an issue and you can choose a liner thickness to refine comfort.
  17. Start year out with grassroots tournaments.. c and record tourneys can be intimidating.
  18. switching phone scrolling hand has made a significant difference as well.
  19. Have a large diameter radius handle but stretching is the key, especially pre and post followed by ice. When out of course I switch grip.
