Finally getting around to getting my 2022 Senate Pro posted again. Received my 2024 Senate Pro late in the season, so I held onto my 2023 to the end of the season. Selling with a Radar Vapor boot size 9. I skied it a few times, it's just not for me.

It's -9 F and you walk down to the storage shed to talk to your Nautique and make sure everything's OK.
@thager I do that all the time!! I also keep the road to the barn fully plowed knowing full well there is no need as we are months away....but you never know....

when I started skiing in the course in 2017 at 49 years of age, this site fed my newfound addiction. Not much has changed! Thanks for a great site @Hortonand Ballers for always chiming in to newbie questions!

It looks like if I want to move the boot backward, I would have to go to the plate, bummer.

yes. Thanks, John, That was my question. Thanks @Horton

@Horton I have included a picture to better describe my question. Without the release mechanism engaged, I can place the heel of the boot flush against the heel cup, but then the release mechanism doesn't look fully engaged. There is a gap, almost a 1/4", is this typical for a reflex system? This is my first reflex binding. Coming from an alpine skiing background, this doesn't look right. @ColeGiacopuzzi this is what I was trying to describe. I am in the furthest hole backward on my Senate so I cannot try moving my boot backwards. If the boot was flush with the heel cup I could try the boot placement you had suggested.

I'm hoping I can get some help setting up my Direct Connect. I watched Neilly Ross's video and it seems pretty straightforward. What I have found is that if I put the boot flush against the heel cup, I can't engage the release mechanism. To engage the release, I must move the toe cup forward so there is an 1/8" of room between the heel cup and the back of the boot. Any suggestions?

@HortonI bought one of these last year, they are amazing! Here in northern Vermont November and April skiing in 50-degree water and 40 degrees is bone-chilling cold. We ski in dry suits, but you can still feel the cold coming through. When I finish a set, I pop this thing on and it is incredible. I would highly recommend it!

IMPORTANT NOTE
settings for the above review are for a 67. boot placement is with a Radar Vapor boot measured from where the back of the boot hits the plate. if you're in a classic reflex boot the boot measurements is 1/8 of an inch less. 1/8 of an inch back.
@ColeGiacopuzzi did I get this correct?
So to be clear, if the measurement for a 67 Senate calls for 30 1/4, the reflex measurent should be 30 1/8 from where the heal meets the ski? Sorry for the confusion....

right?!

I was looking for a schedule of events but can't seem to find one. Is it posted anywhere?

Has anyone skied the new Denali besides the Adams? Curious to see what mere mortals think of the new stick?!

I have used my Bronco to tow My ProStar as an emergency vehicle when my truck was being used by my wife or kids. I only tow 3 miles each way, and never get above 35mph, but it towed fine.

@thagerI agree. I don't think you give up anything with the Senate Pro at your speed and line length. I am ski about the same level as you, and could not be happier with the 24' senate Pro
