  1. All this stuff is creating more and more cost for local tournaments, not to mention qualified people to donate there time to run the equipment. As it is now to compete you really need a boat with ZO, (cost me a fortune a few years ago), not to mention a private ski lake etc.etc., (possible electric boats). We all would like to see the sport grow but for me if I cant compete it seems useless to enter tournaments with unfamiliar equipment, (mainly compete against myself). I started this sport as a family sport, it was something we could all do and afford after the initial investment, if things keep going the way they are it might be cheaper to go Indy car racing
  2. I ski with the old yellow leverage bindings, tons of support, very durable, (about 15 years old). I have changed the wraps about once a year. I was very disappointed when they discontinued the leverage wrap with the ties (much heavier than the new blackout wraps). I ordered a new blackout front to try, it completely changed the way the ski worked, there was absolutely no support, felt like it was made for a beginner (very comfortable). I am currently looking for a new set up or old leverage wraps.
  3. Not sure of the manufacture, ( I will ask him tomorrow) I do know the boat is fuel injected Malibu wake board boat, my friend owns a high performance engine machine shop and thinks it is a good idea, something about the new fuels having not as much lubrication.
  4. Doug Moss is in California and has done many re powers (does it in one day). He did my 2000 SN two years ago, works unbelievably well. You can not tell it was not a factory install, (he also added the ZO ). Sold my GT40 for $3300.00 had about 800 hrs. We used the Excalibur 343. The only problem is that the wake is so good it makes some of the new boats feal hard, I tend to ski a little flat at times.Good luck
