  1. 41 in the water and a much warmer 48 air temp today in the UK... much better than the 41/44 of last week. Plenty of skiing going on at DAMS Watersports in Cambridgeshire. Just booked a set for Boxing Day morning!!!
  2. I Made these about 2 years ago, the shape was not my idea (another skier/coach you would all know) but the fitment on the ski was where I went with his idea. I used them for quite a while, 3 different lengths, with the mid length one being best. Maybe connelly should add this shape to the line up? It was a very good development !! Ultra smooth and fast turns!!! Long way back into the wake after the turn buoy on both sides, ZO almost couldnt gas me early enough !! It was a blast!
  3. Agreed on the inserts, weakest point on the skis... I have ski'd on both the Revocc and the 9970cc, previously on the Rev6 for several years and had tried but then came off the Revolution, back to Rev6. I run mid way through 38 off. The 9970CC is a terrific ski, a definite keeper. Some skis feel great right away then go away from me after a week or two. Not this, it is getting better and better as familiarity builds, about 4 weeks now. My 35s are better than ever and my %pass rate is definitely higher, when I have shortened to 38 off I have been to 5 ball in good shape, just got over excited and pulled long... so it is fast with moderate effort, rides deep and feels very secure, edges outbound exceptionally, has very easy tip tail balance, has transformed my poor on side turn 2 4 6, as I am earlier arriving in the pre turn and better balanced over my feet. It is much earlier in the course at 1 ball and I keep that all the way through. I can move the ski out earlier into my off side and arrive more slowly at 1 3 and 5, turning more at will than turning when I have slowed the ski down enough! Then holding edge a little longer to my onside and making sharper radius turns from an early wide balanced position.. I love the ski and really reccomend folks give it a go!!
  4. I have skid every new Goode since the Mid rides. So the N1, N1XT, FT, N1FT and my Rev 6 arrived Monday 6th. I set it up on factory numbers, and first set on Tuesday I ran 35 off, earlier and easier than on any previous ski (after missing a couple of passess at 35 figuring out how it turned). I rarely get past 3 or 4 at 38, however I had run 38 the day before on the N1FT, (which of course rocked my small world). But then second set on Rev 6 I ran 38 off, just inside 2 ball at 39. Nothing more to say really!!! The Rev 6 is a step forward in innovation and performance.
