My plan is to order both a 68" V type R and a 67" SL CX with Vmax and Chop Top rear then I was considering the Reflex.

Mmosley899, at #190 what speed with your 67"? Have you skied it at 30-32? What binding are you using?

I'm 54, 190-195 so between 67" and 68". Although I was going to order a 67 now I'm thinking to go 68" which would be better at 32-34. A 67" may be more versitile as my son is 160.

How does the SL CX ski compare to the TX?

Well then at this point, I guess maybe I would just be happy to finding 1 or 2 folks who may be in need of a reliable ski partner who has the time and would be happy to help out with costs.

I called Eden and was basically told that they really are not a club with members, facilities, and member activities etc.... but more of a private pay per set/school. I'm was looking more to get hooked up with folks to start getting involved with the recreational/comp scene, maybe do some volunteering with events, etc.... but I guess there just are not any skiing going on in SW Florida ?????

I'm considering getting back involved in 3 event waterskiing. I grew up waterskiing on Lk Sammamish in Redmond WA with some support but have been away from the sport for years. We now live in the Fort Myers/Naples FL. area and I'm looking to hook up with clubs, skiers, event info, where to ski, and folks to ski with and to check out the waterskiing scene here.
