  1. hopefully we can plane to go to a ski lake in washington state and spend several day's skiing with our families
  2. I ski with three families involved mine and both my son's To be able to ski we need yo now that all three families are not contaminated so outside contact has to be zero. Should the things get under control and restrictions relax all three of us will be out there carving up the lake as much as we can.
  3. I use a 69 inch outlaw ski at 26 mph and 15 off. easy up and good to 32mph (me 30max) Great learning ski forgives a lot and can still do the balls. I started with a skinny ski and had all kinds of trouble both getting up and making cuts. this ski solved that. I am not great but I love this sport and having this ski helped me progress. When I get better I will look for a more advanced type of ski.
  4. Oct 27th 11 am I think the last ski of 2019 behind my sons Centurion Falcon air temp 50F and water 45F. All courses had been removed so free ski on Skaha lake. Great day when ever we get to ski. Have to winterize boat as colder nights threaten to freeze motor.
  5. I had both my knee done ( total replacement) in 2014 at age 67. Started skiing again in 2015 still ski when ever I can 2 to 3 times per week and love it. I am now 72. The knees have not given me any problem and surgeon said all was great on check up and I had skied that morning. So get your surgery DO the EXERCISES TO GET KNEE MOBILE. and get back to skiing.
  6. Holley carbs can be fixed with a good Kit from Holley just follow instructions and it will work great again. be sure to do a good job of cleaning parts and blowing them out before reassembly. If the carb was on the boat originally it will not require any changes. Send Holley the numbers on the upper front throat and they will supple the correct kit.
  7. had some issues with 5.7 mercruiser engine after rebuilding carb, new HEI system found out it just needed new plugs last owner did not put correct type in. It sure runs great now. so now back to skiing
  8. this is my Boat Now This is a pic from spring
  9. starting to work at doing the course at 28MPH made it to ball 4 so far. Lake weather not co-operating so runs are a little lumpy.
  10. Bought a 1998 ski centurion falcon has small wake at 28 MPH and no Wake at 34 MPH . Have had several great skis behind it already. Like to thank all for their input and advise. I helped me get a good boat.
  11. On the 6th of August going to Vancouver Canada check out 1996 MB Sport Boss LS200 with PCM GT40 EFI engine. Looks not to bad and is a good price.
  12. checked out the 1994 ski nautique. Owner changed ignition to distributor and it is carbureted. Ran will steering bit stiff. Skied it at 28 and 30 great for me. Working out some issues with registration. May or may not workout.
  13. I am going to look at the Ski nautique asap with serious consideration to buy. Thanks to all for the info it was very help full. I will let everyone know how things turn out.
  14. Neither boat has wood the nautique has pro boss 5.8 liter carb. 285 hp and Supra has fuel injected 5.8l (pro boss??)
  15. SORRY ABOUT THIS THE sUPRA PRICE WAS 8500
  16. I now have new problem found 1995 supra ts6w comp. for sale at 48500 and have to compare that to the 1994 ski Nautique $9500 if both boats are similar shape WHICH WOULD BE BETTER
  17. 5 years of skiing still trying getting better but not there yet
  18. Bracemaker comment on the ignition system is great but I can upgrade ignition and or carb to ford spec EFI system and build custom computer to run it.
  19. Has any body have ski time behind this type of boat. I am skiing at 15 off and 26 MPH. Hopefully I will get better and get to 22 off and 30mph. I believe the boat produces a good wake at 34 mph. I can get an affordable one in Canada not many choices up here. Mastercraft of that age are not available unless I go to US which means double the advertised price for me.
  20. I will try to go there next winter last winter lake closed for maintenance. This is a beautiful lake to ski on.
  21. Spent 3 days Tate lake Washington skiing with my sons and family's. Managed 1 complete pass second day and 2 back to back complete passes day 3. All run at 26 MPH and 15 off behind sons boat with Perfect Pass
  22. I love teak platforms they look great even if you do not maintain them. Fiberglass scratches and chips and just look cheap after a summers use. Some are even very slippery. As fiberglass is harder material it can damage your ski.
  23. Made my first full course pass June 15th,2019 on Connelly outlaw ski at 15 off and 26 mph. I was skiing behind my sons centurion falcon boat. I have been skiing with my sons for 4 years and slowly getting better. Thanks to their patients and coaching. I skied this winter with Erickski and he helped by coaching as will. Love skiing and attempting to improve
