  1. Any of the Radar inside out gloves, definitely by far my favorite.
  2. Selling for a friend/clubmember. 2017 Pro Build Vapor 67" Its in good condition, has some scratches and minor nicks but nothing that would effect its performance. $600 plus shipping. Original box.
  3. I have some Vmax bindings that I have skied on for 1.5 seasons and really like them and the way they attach and look on my HO CX Superlight with the 2 larger bolts directly underneath the boot. I believe they are the 16 or 17 model. The have a removable inner liner and are solid black. I just noticed that HO quit making them. I have been watching ski-it-again, but havent seen any of them in my size pop up... Knowing that I really like my Vmax boots, do you have any suggestions on what I should consider for my next set? Or if my Vmax boots break before they get replaced, I would like to have something in mind to try. I plan to stay with HO, next ski will be a HO syndicate. I mostly ski a course on a tournament lake, but sometimes open water ski. I ski 30-34 mph and typically 15 off with my current progression. Thanks for your thoughts!
  4. First private lake I ever skied, got me into the course and found Water Ski Wyoming (much closer to home) after I got home from that vacation. Wonderful facility and people running it!
  5. Price drop!.... $250 and I will share the shipping cost.... OBO
  6. For sale a like new ACME 543 prop. This prop came with my boat when I bought it (91 Ski Brendella) previous owner was a wake boarder and the motor had a bad piston so he got a prop that would allow him to do what he needed (ACME 543). I replaced the motor with a new one and got the correct prop, this is a great deal as these retail for over $500 and will work great on many other popular boats. I want $300 for it or best offer. Thanks, Aaron
  7. Thanks everyone, looks like I am all set up. Yes I am a member at Tom's Club\Gordons Pond, I am very fortunate to get to ski there.
  8. I will be up in the Kalispell Montana region on September 18 and 19th, My wife has a Work conference that she will be at. This gives me those days to do whatever I please. So I plan to do some Mtn Biking and would love to get a set of skiing in. Normally I chase buoys at Gordons Pond in Wy. If you have any leads let me know. Thanks, Aaron
  9. The TX is super stable, you will like it.
  10. @gt2003 I was on a 2014 69" HO Superlight TX, still have the ski, however it is currently for sale also. Just took one step up into a 2017 Superlight CX, mostly for the middle binding mount as I am using the new Vmax bindings from HO.
  11. When I first learned the course last year on that exact ski I was going as slow as 24mph on it with a full length line. I was workingat 30 and 32 mph by the end of last season on that ski. Never felt like the ski was holding me back. It was and is a great ski for the slower speeds.
  12. For Sale: 69" HO TX Superlight, This was a great open water ski and it got me started in the course. I have it on Ski-it-again for $400 but will take $300 for it for a baller. Buyer pays shipping. Ski has some cosmetic blemishes from the dock and bindings. If you want more pictures send me a PM and I will get some more to you. Thanks, Aaron
  13. I don't mind the deep water starts, I prefer to hit the course with as much strength as I can have. If I have my choice it is to drop at each end.
  14. Just thought I would share that I took the plunge and have purchased a new ski! I ordered a 2017 CX Superlight, old ski is a 2014 TX Superlight. Last season my Xmax bindings fell apart and HO warrantied them for me and let me upgrade into the Vmax. I had to order the Vmax adapter plate to mount them to my 2014 model ski because it doesn't have HO's new center mount for bindings. Been skiing with my adapter plates and my TX SL the first half of our season and feel I am ready for something new to help me progress with the course, working at 30mph and 15off currently. I really like the TX SL but I hope the CX SL is similar but quicker and more aggressive. I am really looking forward to my new ski for several reasons. 1. Get to remove stupid adapter plates from my bindings and use the intended center mount on new ski. 2. Looking for a slightly better course ski as I get into 32 and faster. 3. Red and Black is my Jam! 4. New toys are awesome!! Tell me what you think, did I make the right choice?
  15. Looking like I may have found one!
  16. Looking to go from my 69"TX Superlight to a Superlight CX in 69". Let me know what ya got! Thanks, Aaron
  17. Closest lake to home. Learned to ski here. This was from this Saturday 11-12-16. My last ski of the season and now I can say I skied Mid November in Montana!
  18. This year was the start to the rest of my life. I thought I loved open water skiing..... now all I can think of is a course on a private lake somewhere in WY behind a 2016 Nautique 200. Best summer ever. PBs almost every trip out as I relearned how to ski. Started REALLY slow.... 22MPH with a long line in June. Worked my way to 30MPH on the long line by the end of August, then graduated to 26mph at 15off. Once I got comfortable with 15off@26 we introduced entrance gates. The last 2 months I have skied more than I ever have before 1-2 lake trips a week. The last 3 weeks I had been working at getting 15off @ 28, this last weekend I crushed 28 and moved to 30 in the same set. 4 at 30mph amd 15off to end my season. We pulled buoys after that set. I am already wishing it was spring and I have 5 months to snow ski.
  19. I have a tendancy to want to look at the ball and loose body positioning as I pass it. I am curious to know what is your point of focus (where is your head pointed) and why? Do you have several different things you focus on at different points on the course?
  20. @sudsysul I believe what he is implying is try both a syndicate and a superlight and see what your body likes best out of the 2. That is what I plan to do next summer is demo the CX and either the vtx or vtr at the same time. I started learning the course at 22mph on my TX Superlight, now I am finally to 28 and 30mph at 15off and the ski is coming to life.
  21. Skied yesterday 51 air 50 water. Also spent a solid 25 min in the water pulling buoys with my Blacktec and body never got cold. Suit has broke in and is even more comfortable. Love it. Just want to say thank you too all who suggested Camaro to me! Now I want the short leg long sleve version also.
