I met some old timer at the bar up at lake Shasta that told me he used to ski at a lake in Hollister called Paicenes. Thought he was full of shit till I saw this thread. He said it was in the middle of am orchard and had a jump ramp.

Figured it out. One simple thing oversight! After you move the pump spindle to 12. Re engage the belt so it wont move as you re install the impeller. Wish i would realized this yesterday!!!!

There maybe people less fortunate, than some, but I am sure most of them are good people.

I was just joking. But if I don’t get the impellar in today, I’m just gonna buy a new boat! 

I know! Sore and pissed. Should have took pump off. I just ran out of time. I also got it first time. Second I assumed i was golden since I had all the tricks down. But after 3 hours and alot of swear words , I had to make the decision to get to campsite. 

Now i gotta sit on the shore with all the broke dicks and I don’t like camping. FML

Son of a bitch. Should have left alone. I was afraid this  would happen. Cannot for the life on me get the impeller in without knocking out the key. Zip tied impeller , greased, wd40. Released tension on belt to move to 12. Knocks it off or jams it sticking  up. I must have tried 50 times and whole pack of zip ties. Many hours later, ran out of time and going camping boatless. Thanks guys for the bad advice to just change it!!’ Lol. Should have left good enough alone to make it through the weekend. If you haven’t changed one on an ilmore you don’t know!

What do you guys think? I rather not deal with the struggle to remove and replace right now. Last time it was a bitch.  2017 Prostar. 

Make the cover to the water pump out of a clear material so you can visually see the status of impeller?

That’s a veryremote part of the state. I am surprised there was a course there. 

This should be a new sport! 

I would love to have a tower of mine, but they’re so damn expensive. Mastercraft is very proud of all the  add-ons!

It sounds like the main slalom demographic (the only people who *might* pay this premium specifically to ski) is currently being served by a couple of lakes within 20min of this one.

If they're gunning for rich people who just want a country club and might be interested in skiing, why build in Sacramento? Why not build further south and try for that demographic closer to LA? I imagine that type of demo is much larger down there, and as far as I can tell, ski lakes are basically non-existent near the city

That lake has been there for many years. Originally called sunset ranch.  I used to ski there off n on as I did all the granite work for the main house, the barbecue and the guest house.

The starting dock was seating with table and chairs when I stopped by there last year. Wine was good. They were renting paddle boats so guest could take a spin with a bottle of wine. That will be interesting with waterskiing going on!!! 

Maybe they provide a driver.  They charge $8500 and I cant get anyone to come over and ski for free. Go figure. 

Is this really the going rate nowadays for membership at a Club Lake?

Looks like such a fun experience to ski once in a river leading into the ocean. If there was a launch ramp , I would give it a go. Any sites like this? 
 

I used the narrow set up  above dur to the same concerns of clearing. Its taken awhile to get used to it but I  now have it down.  It’s not easy to to get it on the bunks in the right place. Overhead shot of my set up. 
 

Im not sure how close the 22 hull is from the previous hull. But there is a thread about it. I have a narrower set up that works , but a pain to get on right  

@chaloux. I think those of us on private sites have no use for ski racks.i dont know about everyone else but I would never use them. 

No way! That bridge is awesome. Shouldn’t be a problem at 38 off and shorter. Lol   

If someone would offer me 58K for my 17 Mastercraft I’ll say come on over hitch it up it’s yours ! 

Driving it will be the bigger issue.
