  1. +1 for Stealth gloves w/ kevlar; hold up very well, comfortable fit.
  2. Thanks all! I've sent Trent a message. matt_b - thanks for the offer, I'll maybe reach out as my schedule starts to take shape
  3. Hoping some ballers may be able to point me in the direction of a school/club in the Austin - San Antonio area. I'm looking to ski a set or two on one day, while in the area for vacation between October 17 - 24. Us Albertans got hit with an early fall snow dump (12") this weekend and i'm hoping to sneak in another ski before the long winter. Appreciate any recommendations. Thanks!
  4. Used a pair of stealth gloves this season and thought they were great. Held up well and comfortable.
  5. Great (and hilarious) advice and insight, thanks everyone! Definitely going to try and get on the water once or twice beforehand; been a late spring here.
  6. Hi All, First time posting. I'm 34 and have been slalom skiing since I was about 10 years old; primarily open water, but i've had the opportunity to run the course on occasion. In May I'll be realizing a longstanding goal of mine which is to go to a ski school for 4 days. I hope to do this on a yearly basis going forward. I've never been coached in the sport, but have always had an strong desire to course ski and progress in the sport. I would consider myself a novice skier and I don't think I have too many bad habits (but I guess i'll see shortly). My question is perhaps broad, but any tips or advice for a first-time ski school attendee? Appreciate it!
